Getting to 4-4 on the season would keep our playoff hopes alive. Can we beat Atlanta? Yes. Will we? Only if this organization stops being stupid and starts playing real football!! This season is starting to look like a lost cause and I’m as pissed as the next guy, but a win over Atlanta would at least make things interesting and we could end up playing meaningful football on Thanksgiving. Depends on you Cowboys! Step up before it’s too late!!

Atlanta owes us a revenge game for the one game with the infamous onside kick twirler recovery fiasco and cowboys comeback victory. Let’s hope they are not ready to pay us back for that but that would be just our luck. Kick us while we’re down.

We will see. Honestly from an odds perspective a win is unlikely to move the playoff needle much unless we can get some upsets around the league. Its the NFL so that's always possible, but its an odd game for the Cowboys where the likely scenario is a win doesnt help you all that much, but a loss absolutely kills your chances.

It will screw up their draft position and put them in the division race. Especially if they beat the Eagles the following week.

Run defense against Bijan Robinson = beat down. Cousin may not need to throw a single pass. This has to be the worst DC defense I have seen in quite a while. Help me out here forum, when was the last time we have seen DC defense this bad?

This team is capable of winning any of their remaining games. They will probably lose most of them but we'll have a couple where the defense gets turnovers and scores to offset the offensive incompetence and maybe squeak out a win.

Atlanta isn't that good and won't be the kind of team that dak pees down his leg against, so it's possible. It won't really mean anything, we still aren't going anywhere.

Can we beat Atlanta? Don't think so but it wouldn't be a big surprise. But this team is so weak and inconsistent in so many areas that I wouldn't be surprised if we turned around and lost to Carolina later on.

Playoffs? Pfft. If we do somehow sneak in as a wildcard it's another one-and-done ending.

You don’t have to look too far. 2020 was as bad or worse.

Dallas can win any week because of the “any given Sunday” principle, but to think it will change the course of what is shaping up to be a lost year is crazy.

What about it? Would be like every other season. We take a couple bad losses, then everyone expects us to lose to a good team, we then put up a 40 points and everyone is back on the wagon just for us to go into the following week and lay an egg.

That's the modern Cowboys. Doing just enough to keep you around.

I'd wager a lot of money against us winning this game. It's a horrible matchup. Atlanta has one the best running backs in the league and they can throw the ball too. I don't see our offense putting up a bunch of points. But, the real problem is that it's going to be like a home game with 80% of the crowd pro-cowboys. We are 0-3 at home.
