When the game is out of reach. When the pressure is no longer on and Dak can expose the defense using prevent defense. This is where Dak shines. I need to give it to Dak Prescott, he is definitely the greatest garbage time QB of all time. The stats he puts up in garbage time is extremely impressive!! For the last nine years I’ve noticed that Dak shines when the game is out of reach. Does anybody know why that is?

Dak is a shoo-in for his lime green jacket!!!!
GHOF (Garbage Hall of Fame) here he comes baby Mr. DAKTRASH!!!

To be truthful, most QBs really pile up the stats when the game is out of reach and the other teams starters are out of the game and they are playing prevent defense. Jerry or Mike can say we really fought back in the 4th quarter but thats Fools Gold.

Stupid post. The team had 12 wins in three straight years. Yes, there was no playoff success for the team, but when you win 12 games and your QB is recognized as a slim MVP candidate, there’s no garbage time, just good team play.
Now, the team is a shadow of itself due to both injuries and mismanagement, and in an off year the QB is making some bad decisions and playing poorly, and you want to talk garbage time stats? That doesn’t hold up in any context other than this season.

I laugh when yall say this because you guys never watched Matt Stafford in Detroit or Matt Ryan in garbage time. Either you are too young to remember or clueless.
