You give what is likely to be an early 4th for a player you only had a third round grade on and has not been successful in the NFL and was likely to be cut by the Panthers at some point.

He's a third rounder in the Jersey Mike's draft.

His draft was 1.5 years agio and those grades are outdated. Now you should be looking at his year and a half of production in the NFL to make todays determinations about him.

You’re not missing anything but it’s fairly clear that Jerry just wanted a headline.

He figures it helps to offset the obvious sinking ship with the QB gone for a month.
