3-5 drop back passes for Rush

A quick passing offense, we know he isn't athletic so why not help him out. He looked well when he started years ago, and we went to a quick passing offense. I'm confused as to why we don't run this with Dak knowing his limitations physically and with guys not being able to get open.

Eventually a 7 step pass could be called I'd be fine with that. Seeing him do it often wouldn't be beneficial to our offense. Please give your this on this

it makes sense given his arm strength is questionable. he is much better in dink and dunk and short passing game.

but it also brings the defense in and compacts everything.

I think he has a better arm than some give him credit for, now i'm not saying he's airing it out, but he does throw a better ball at times than Dak does, I don't know!!

his arm is not that strong, to zip some of the balls where he needs to. he has gotten stronger over the years, but still has limitations.
he was always a cerebral QB, no denying that, and if he had arm strength he would have been a 1st or 2nd round pick. there is a reason he went undrafted.

The Eagles are going to have 8-9 defenders around the LOS anticipating quick throws. This game has the potential of being the ugliest contest this year. I will not be surprised if the Eagles pitch a shutout, Rush gets frequently sacked and turns the ball over numerous times and Barklay has a career day. May see a fifty burger on Sunday.

I guess no one can give any ... thoughts ... on this ....

So what will a quick passing game give us, if our WR's can't get open or get any separation.

Until the OL improves, the QB may not have time to drop back 7 steps. Unless his name is Trey Lance.
At least he can scramble much better. Then he can ACTUALLY run.

Rush can hit passes in the 10 to 15 yd range, which is something Dak can no longer do. The offense should be a tick better under him.
