On a day after a horrible loss to our most hated rival
I urge all cowboy fans to watch this and feel good at least for an hour about what we once were.
This man represented his country his team and everything in his life the right way.
He personified everything that was good in sports.
And along with his coach and fellow veteran made us America's team.

Take a little reprieve from what we have become and enjoy for a moment what we once were.

Hope everybody watches this especially the younger fans who didn't get to see this great cowboy legend play in the moment

Roger brought out the hero in all of us.
What a great statement by Drew Pearson.
Now we don't even have a player that can summon the hero in himself let alone inspire the rest of the team

My greatest role model, he is everything you would want a human being to be. Great leader and family man....when we talk about one man being able to lift up the people around him....Roger was that man.

He made everyone around him better. Have you seen the Super Bowl X roster with 12 rookies starting? Roger led that team to the SBowl a first for a wild card team.

We really had some great players back then .
Roger's competitive Spirit could not be equaled and it was contagious .
He made everyone around him play harder.
It was a great time to be a cowboy fan

Imagine Roger in today’s NFL. He was fun to watch. He’s a winner
Roger played in a Time when the NFL was truly a man's sport and a very violent game with the rules not benefiting the quarterback nearly as much as they do today

He would absolutely take today's NFL by storm there's no one in this league currently that has his desire to win.

Guys like Tom Brady and Ray Lewis are things of the past

Baker Mayfield has the desire to win.

Watched the episode last night

No matter how many times I see it, it still inspires me.

Incredible man, on and off the field. Genuine American hero.

Baker Mayfield has the desire to win.
I'll give you that John J . I have thought that many times myself and wished that by hook or by crook we got him.

I think he could have been had for a reasonable price and we could have traded DAk
For some draft picks.
Instead here we are stuck with 60 million a year going out and not much coming back

Baker Mayfield has the desire to win.
All that said though he doesn't have near Rogers desire there's no one that competitive anymore

Roger Staubach is an NFL God without equal but Baker Mayfield would be qualified to back him up and carry his water bottle

If we had Mayfield, we might have possibly had a winning team this year.

We would have been better off with Mayfield.
