What's the fascination we have in throwing deep to Brooks?

7th round guy who clearly lacks speed, yet these last few games we're going deep to him. I saw Moreno Cropper out there, why not sprinkle him, try to get something deep!!?

Look how bad this post is, COOG complaining about our KNOWN offensive woes! I hope we clean out this WR room in the off season and bring in some actual play makers. This team needs it, our QBs need it more! Please give your thoughts

We have nobody else to throw the ball deep too. And you have to open up the field at least make them think they have to respect the deep pass. You had to take the strong safety out of the box.
here it goes, lol .
Prescott dropped dimes to the deep receivers. Right now there’s nobody else that can do it.

I think its because of his size. Turpin is diminutive and despite his deep speed has trouble getting separation. and his hands are 50/50.
we just don't have the WRs that can do anything and it reminds me of the 2018 season. but probably not as bad. that season Williams was our top WR.

I am over the Brooks experiment as well. He is not a playmaker. It seems like every target is a battle for him. I'd rather they start looking at some of the other WRs they have.

In a 4 receiver set....he will have either a Safety or 4th corner cover him
....they must think its a mismatch lol

Mingo! Mingo! Chew on this for a second...all during TC we kept seeing highlights of Brooks etc...making great catches. That should have thrown up a red flag indicating our secondary must stink if these guys are getting roasted. Doesn't really matter at this point but if our D can't slow down this pathetic offense in TC how were we going to slow anyone else down?

Coog, JMC is better than Brooks, Flournoy is better than Brooks, yet Brooks keeps getting snaps and targets. They wonder why they can't move the ball, but continue throwing passes to a 4.7 40 WR.

Just a thought but perhaps they have Brooks running routes they would give to Cooks if he was healthy?

Quite simply, what are the other options? Lamb is doubled 90% of the time. We have zero speed at WR. It’s just another example of an offensive gun with no bullets.

It reminds me of the early season 2018 WR group before the Cooper trade. But unlike 2018, we also have no RB threats either. This is the worst offense…EVEN ON PAPER… we’ve had since 2000-02. We just don’t have any weapons.

And the biggest, most shocking part of all this is our FO either didn’t realize how bad this team was equipped going into the season or knew and just let it happen anyway.

In a normal NFL organization this would result in the GM being fired. Like I said, “In a normal NFL organization”.
