We are well aware that the team has needs across the board, if you had to prioritize the top 3 needs, what would they be?

1) DT-Osa is a fa and undersized. Mazi hasn't produced much in 1.5 seasons. We could make an argument that team needs multiple DT's.
2) WR-Cooks isn't expected to be resigned. Tolbert, Brooks, Flounoy, Mingo have yet to prove to be anything more than a 4/5 type of receiver.
3) RB-Dowdle is a career backup #3 type of RB, Zeke/Cooks might be both washed. Like DT, you can add 2 to this positional group.

DT, WR and OL

I think Rico has actually been pretty
solid. Top 10 in success rate in the league we just have a washed Zeke eating at his carries.

There’s a good chance we have to rebuild the entire right side of the OL.

Hard to argue this. It’s spot on. I think I would add DE as well. Lawrence is cooked and they have nothing behind him.

I disagree, we are dead last in rushing. Dowdle is at best a #2 back.

OL I feel that Richards, Bass could ascend to starter roles. Both have played well when called upon. Steele is probably going to be a June 1st cut.

Remember they do have both Kneeland and Sam Williams developing. Could they add another? Absolutely, but don't think it's an must, either.

DT or DE........only this if I can draft one of the top 3, If not, I don't trust one in the bottom of the round to be any better than 2nd, 3rd or 4th rounder
RB........one of the strongest/deep positions. So not sure I use a 2nd here, especially if a top Oline flex player is there ( RG )
ILBer .....For once, I'd like to see them draft a damn good MLBer who's tackling machine in Sean Lee mode

As for WR........I don't see Jerry prioritizing this at all, especially with a top 3 pick after burning a 4th on Mingo. Besides, I see us signing Stephon Diggs on a prove-it deal.

That’s not a Rico problem…it’s a dumpster fire team and opportunity problem. He’s losing carries to Jerry’s buddy Zeke and we’ve been blown out so much he’s not getting a chance.

Again, he’s top 10 in the NFL in success rate and is averaging 4.5 a carry. He only has 83 carries (for reference Saquon has 171 lol).

Add another solid mid rounder, OL gets a little better, and we don’t get blown out of half of our games and we won’t be near the bottom of the league in rushing next year.

There’s a lot more context to it than Rico sucks because we’re near the bottom of the league in rushing yards.

Defensive line, running back, and wide receiver. Not gonna lie I am including defensive end with defensive line so I am giving you four. Right now I see at least 5 studs that I would be dancing in the streets if Dallas drafted them with our first pick. Spoiler, two of those players are on Michigan. Along with McMillian, WR Arizona, Abdul Carter, defensive end Penn State, and Travis Hunter Colorado. I am falling in love with this draft early in the process. This draft might be underrated.

Based off Dane / Mel’s recent big boards good chance DE is BPA and I’m 100% on board.

You can save 10 mil in cap space with a post 6/1 Tank cut. I’ve lost pretty much all faith in Williams and Kneeland is more of a run defender who i don’t think is going to give us much pass rush.

Jerry is gonna kick us in the nuts once again.

100% Tank is his war Daddy so he’s going to sell us that at the age of 40 fresh off an injury he’s going to break the sack record.
:hammer: but there are some good players in this draft that can come and in make a difference.

DT, DE, RB

That is where I would start both in the draft and FA. DT....obviously. Although they need to find a veteran to in FA. The DT needs to be able to rush the passer too. DE....we may have one rusher next year in Micah. Lawrence may be gone and we have no idea if Williams can do it or if he will be healthy. Our defense is built on playmaking corners who capitilzes on mistakes. This is caused when we get a lot of pressure. Without top tier pressure our defense falls apart.

Then RB. I would bring in a veteran and also use a top 3 pick on a rb.

That will leave us will plenty of holes still, but fix the DT, improve the DE and add a few running backs than that is where I would start.

Outside of the Pittsburgh game, our rushing offense has been non-existent. Yes, blame goes to the scheme, the OL AND the RB. I see have seen several times this season, that Dowdle lacks the vision for the position, he also has a long injury history.

Wrote a post about bigger personnel a few weeks back, where we need a "big linebacker". Where do you see Marist ultimately playing? Don't disagree about Edge, you never have enough.

Can Overshown play MLBer at a high level.........his size and speed remind me of Rondo McClain

In the first two rounds, OT and WR

In the middle rounds, DT and RB.

OT to me is by far the #1 need. Even if Guyton turns out good, we need an OT. And we don’t know if Guyton will be good.

In general, when the Cowboys have been good, they’ve had a strong offensive line. The current group needs a lot of help.

What do the Cowboys accomplish in FA before the draft?

OL, DL and RB and the top day 1 and day 2 objectives. But what the Cowboys do in FA could change that pretty quickly.
