Im really having a hard to time figuring out how much I like him. Although I haven't been able to watch a ton of tape yet. I do think I like the idea of moving down and landing Scourton better of they target DE
A lot will depend upon who will be running our defense and what type of Edge they would target. As we know a 4-3 DE is much harder to fill.

I just moved to Philly suburbs a few months ago and my sister in law is a Penn State Alum, watch them every week. He is a poor man's Parsons. Undersized, former off the ball linebacker. Still raw, but you can see the athleticism. Probably not as explosive as Parsons, but not that far off, either. Both fit better as OLB's in a 3-4 Front then 4-3 DE's.
Top 5 player for Dane, Mel and Nate Tice (really good if you don’t know about him).

One of my favorite targets in the draft. I’d argue he’s more polished as a pass rusher than Parsons coming out but obvisouly Parsons has turned into an all universe player.

The thought of Parsons, DeMo and Carter hovering around the LOS causing havoc would be fun.

I really like him as a prospect. I think a lot will depend upon whom is running our defense. You do not want 2 undersized 4-3 DE's in your front, but perhaps one could play off the ball against the run and rush in the nickel. He is another chess piece type of player who can play all over the field.

He’s the same size Tank was as a prospect who had no issues bulking up.

I’d also add I doubt if we draft him you’re going to see him and Parsons as your base ends all the team. The team will still get Kneeland / Tank on the field for run downs and you can drop Micah or Carter back at times and / or rush the B Gap.

Defensive line, running back, and wide receiver. Not gonna lie I am including defensive end with defensive line so I am giving you four. Right now I see at least 5 studs that I would be dancing in the streets if Dallas drafted them with our first pick. Spoiler, two of those players are on Michigan. Along with McMillian, WR Arizona, Abdul Carter, defensive end Penn State, and Travis Hunter Colorado. I am falling in love with this draft early in the process. This draft might be underrated.
i'm guilty of being overly optimistic, or looking at things in best case, but i truly feel like we're going to be able to grab a fantastic piece to unlock others.

Despite the trade of Mingo, still believe this is a major need. Top teams usually have two alpha receivers
is that true? kc, buffalo, baltimore? it's really just philly, cincy, detroit and san fran in that mold right?

Every team you listed has 2 legit high end weapons…yes it’s 100% true.

I believe if we draft another high Edge, DLaw won't be back. Kneeland ultimately is going to become our LE as he will be our best run stopper. In the nickel they may kick him inside. If we have Parsons/Carter, think one moves to Strong-side backer against the run and both rush in the nickel.

Could be right. Regardless I don’t think we’d have any issues getting enough snaps for both of them.

Teams play the nickel most of the time, you need at least 3 high-end rushers. Right now we have just Parsons, could Sam Williams take that next step? I know Kneeland is going to get a lot of cleanup sacks, but probably be similar to DLaw.

DT, RB and Safety: Don't think Hooker or Wilson will be on the team next year.

Those are your SB contenders.
kc is your back to back sb champs, and baltimore and buffalo are easilly contenders and over everyone other than the lions. the post was the top teams usually have two alpha receivers. and historically i don't think that's been the case. having two alphas typically makes a team dangerous but it hasn't been a blueprint or requirement at all.

DT
DE
OT

Lines are always the most important positions to get right. WR is a second tier position and RB is third tier. If you can get a really good RB in FA for 6-8m$ AAV, don’t waste a premium draft pick on them.

Wordsmith it however you want…we don’t have enough weapons plain and simple.

Those teams do.
it's not wordsmithing. that's specifically what the wording was, and what I questioned. i know we need more weapons, everyone knows. i questioned if the best teams typically have two alpha wr's and they don't.
