I think that had less to do with Rush's capabilities, and more to do with frustration with what Dak was doing/or lack thereof getting us to 3-5. At least for the sane ones (there were a couple I will give you though).

The backups may not possess the same level talent, but maybe they play with more heart and discipline so the results end up looking better?

All I will say is the only good thing about a losing season besides the higher draft picks is how relaxing it is watching games with 0 expectations and getting some backups more opportunities. I wouldn't want to be in that spot for very long, but no playoff stress this year.

I'm sure a lot of people were frustrated and emotional, they sounded stupid nonetheless. AND yes, there were a handful of delusional as well.
