There is risk in this approach. The brand can deteriorate, interest can wane, revenue can decline. I bet that Jerry thinks his franchise is like McDonalds or Coca-cola, an invulnerable American brand. But I think there is serious risk to declining value with more seasons like this one.

Maybe streaming money elides this hypothetical decline. I'm probably being way too optimistic.

People may laugh, but this is correct. Jerry has a hobby. Some folks play golf. Jerry likes to play GM. He enjoys it. He's not very good at it, and nobody would pay him to do it, but he likes it and can afford it.

It would shake them to their very core. Their egos could not take it. They will not and can not stand the thought or risk of something like that happening.
