Only way out is to trade down in the frst and 2nd rounds. Pickup 5 or 6 extra picks replenish the o and dlines plus get a WR AND RB. You should be able to come away w a-lot of starters if you do that snd get the right guys. Just keep Jerry out of it.

I like this idea the best. If you can get another 1st, that would be monumental.

This would be a fabulous idea especially if we're picking in the top 5.

Jerry drafting a running back in the first round. I can feel it happening.

I’d have a hard time trading down if TMac / Carter / Graham are available.
Trading down is easier said then done. Teams only trade up for a specific player, also as you just said, hard to move back losing value. I'm only trading back if if a teams that needs a QB overpays.

Yea, it’d be nice in theory but easier said than done.

Unless we’re top 3 I don’t see it happening unless a team falls in love with Milroe.

Lose out and have 1, 33, and 65. Trade down to 5 and have 5, 33, 37, and 65 and more. Trade Parsons for a 1 this year and next year and have 5, 12, 33, 37, and 65 and more.

This is a pretty sucky class once you get past the first 5 or so non-QBs. If we end up in that top 8 zone, I have a hard time thinking you would recoup enough value to justify moving out of it.

In Dallas’ position, it doesn’t not benefit you to trade Parsons just to be chasing the next Parsons.

Keep him, all rebuilds are built upon the foundation of the talent that stayed. Fletcher Cox in Philadelphia, Myles Garrett in Cleveland, Joey Bosa in LAC, Aaron Donald in LAR. Those teams were better after the rebuild because they held onto their talent

100% agree…if we didn’t have Dak I’d trade Parsons in a heartbeat. But we have a franchise QB so you can’t trade the best player on your roster…

If we had a competent GM we’d do everything possible to build around him but that’s wishful thinking. Phillys GM would’ve had us as a legit contender 2/3 years ago.

The Cowboys should trade down twice. Ending up with the 11th-14th pick and a bunch of day 2 picks is what they need.

1st rounder plus 4 picks on day 2 is 5 good players to start the draft with.

I know I'm dreaming but those 5 players could really fill some holes.
