Just saw a Kiper Podcast about Draft strongest/weakest positions!

That is pretty much what I have heard as well.
Actually there are a number of good edge rushers but no real top ones
the RB class is the deepest class of anything I have seen since the QB class of 1983

I could see JJ taking one of the top 2 OT's early, a RB in rd 2 and then worrying the defense later, again.

That plays out perfectly for the Cowboys. They need to take advantage of the strength of the DT, Edge, and RB positions. I would be just fine with them drafting an Edge rusher and DT with the 1st and 2nd round picks. In whatever order. If there is a RB they like in the mid to late 2nd, trade back in and get the player.

The entire right side of the OL will likely need a face lift. Free agency can upgrade the Guard position. The draft may be needed for the right tackle unless they move Guyton (which I doubt).

We HAVE pass rushers so this edge obsession needs to take a time out
WE do NOT HAVE ANY DTs worth the name.
THAT must be the over riding priority of this draft.

Strongest

-Running Backs
-Edge
-Defensive Tackles
-Tight Ends
-Kickers/Punters

Weakest

-QB (3 then a huge drop-off)
-Tackle (mentioned huge drop off after top 2)
-WR (weak in the 1st rd, but good depth after)
I like the part that they guarantee that the Raiders will trade up to get a qb after missing out last year.

Don't overlook Richards, he has played well when given a chance.

Who are these pass rushers you believe the 2024 Dallas Cowboys have outside of Parsons? I'll wait.

If you read what I wrote, I said they need to take advantage of the talent and depth of the DT, Edge and RB positions. The Cowboys can draft a DT in the 1st and I'd be just fine. They need more Edge players too.

This team is lacking talent all over it's roster. Period.

where is the run stoppers? We have NONE.

We need dline, edge, linebacker,CB, and tightend. I'm not feeling good about the tightend room. Running back needs to be a priority. I think Oline needs another guy too, preferably in free agency.

Penn State tight end. Warren is a monster.

Again, where are you not comprehending that they need to get DTs AND Edge guys? Why are you reading but not comprehending that they need both? This is not an either or thing @gtb1943.

The draft is deep with them so take advantage.

The offensive line needs to be molded together. We started two rookies this season. I think Martin and Steele let the line down this season. Coaches didn’t help at all.

I disagree, this is the year you fix the DT position. As for running back, if the class is so deep, take multiple backs and overhaul the entire position.
yea and if that deep, don't take one early.

By know means is it great but it wouldn’t surprise me if the ends on this team next year are Parsons, Kneeland, Williams, Golston, and Lawson.
