Chiefs, Rams, Bucs

Chiefs-Chris Jones
Rams-Aaron Donald
Bucs-Vita Vea

Unicorn type of interior players who can not only stop the run, but rush the passer.

Not saying any of these prospects, will turn out like these 3, but it is time to draft a high DT!

The more I watch Harmon the more I he might be just as good as Graham. ESPN just ranked him as the 10th best prospect in CFB.

1st in pressures, 1st in pass rush grade, 2nd in win rate and a dude against the run.

I am interested to see how these media scouts rank these DT's as the offseason progresses, we have to keep in mind season isn't even over as of yet:

Graham, Harmon, Grant, Nolan, Walker, etc.

As long as we stay in that top 15 range, you should be able to land an impact DT!

Jethro and his shiny toys says no DT in the first
not to mention that would mean he had to admit to making a mistake with Mazi and you know how that goes

Take the best player on the board even if it is defensive tackle. I think a Osa, Mazi, and one of these top 5 defensive tackles would be a good defensive interior for next season.

Those Super Bowl teams did an excellent job using free agency and the draft as well. All those teams went for it financially.

Unfortunately Osa is a FA thats likely going to cost 8ish+ mil a year. I’d probably bring him back we’ll see what happens.

Mazi’s progression has been encouraging.

I can see them taking Kenneth Grant.

I would let Osa walk, we need a bigger front, not an undersized one that wares down during games and as the season progresses.

That’s fine but you better replace him with a vet in FA who’s at least a league average starter. I’m signing 2 if we let him walk.

I think the Joneses will bring back Osa and Gholston. Especially if they end the year strong. Unfortunately they won’t bring back Lewis because he will want real money. Carson has been a big disappointment that no one seems to be talking about. He looks like the second coming of 4th and Ball.

I don’t know if we trust Jethro and Co. on hitting on one but if we can get into the top 6-7, no problem in taking a shot. They missed big time on Mazi in the lower half of round 1. I’d move up in the second round for a QB if one drops some. No Sanders please! Gotta go RB in the 3rd. We need to take another QB somewhere in rounds 4-6. We have got to create some competition at that position if they’re not going to pick up one in FA.

I have him as a riser. I think he winds up DT2 and could be slotted where we pick

Even of Mazi continues progressing and we keep Osa, you still want another DT. Both those things happening shouldn't have any bearing on us possibly drafting one on the 1st

You keep Osa ans draft Graham or Harmon, think of all the different packages you can run at DT

Oh I 100% agree. I’m in record saying a few times my favorite options is bringing in 2 FAs (even if Osa is 1.) AND still drafting 2!

Let’s turn a weakness into a strength.

Everyone but Jerry knows you invest in your DL across the board. Mazi was the first DT we drafted in the first in over 30 years. Our bozo FO is clueless.
