If he's available in the 2nd round the Cowboys should draft him. IMO he's a more mobile Jared Goff. Dak has an injury history and we need insurance.
 
I've been burned so many times by those pro-style QBs throwing pretty balls from clean pockets that I just gave up on them.

In the modern NFL, it seems like a physically average, really polished technician maxes out at like a Kirk Cousins, Tua, Jared Goff type level. And if they can't process fast enough to beat a pass rush, the floor looks more like Mac Jones.

Give me a guy who can create on his own and beat a defense even if they make a good play. If I'm going to draft a pocket QB, he had better be Peyton Manning "superpower" level at pocket play (think Joe Burrow), or at least be dummy productive.

Ewers and Beck look polished, but if they're playing on top 5 teams with NFL teammates everywhere, they had better be shredding. The playoffs will really help separate the wheat from the chaff, once more NFL-caliber talent on defense starts showing up.

i am really starting to warm to jaxon dart. he’s mobile he can create. he’s got some flaws but can coached out of him.

Carson Beck can't leave the UGA campus fast enough.

Trust me, you want no part of this guy. Turned into an interception machine once Bowers and Ladd were off to the NFL. Forces a lot of throws into places where a football should not go.

I changed my mind based on recent interviews. Doesn't seem to have passion for football. Huge red flag.

Are you talking about this? It sounds to me like he's just trying to take his eye off the ball, and broadcast TV makes it hard to do that.

Nah, Dallas should be getting away from that style of QBing. QBs that need all-pros all around them to be successful are propped up and overvalued.
 
There was a photo floating around on the net today of what is supposedly Beck that isnt going help his draft stock. He needs a coach like McVay who can get the most out of him.
 
Heading into the season he was arguably QB1. This years been a little down but he’s picked it up as of late.

The traits appear to be there so if he slides enough I’d 100% draft him…just not in the 1st.

Yeah the kid has talent. Perfect developmental quarterback. I would consider him in the second. He has a strong arm and is athletic. I think he would be a good backup that could develop into a future starter.
 
I like the Roarke kid from IU more than I like Beck. Even when Ohio St. was whopping upon them, I didn’t see a rattled QB (just a guy who’s OL was getting manhandled all day). Like others have said, Beck looks rattled when the bleep it’s the fan…

He’s been all over the map this year.

Mid to late round flier for me.

If they believe he can be the next guy I’m not opposed to it.
 
He has all the physical tools but not between the ears
 
he goes in the do not draft category, same as Ewers.infact the only 2 QBs I trust is Ward and Sanders.
