Man, watching the GT-UGA game, CJ Allen(UGA) is someone to watch for in 1-2 years. Absolute menace to end the game.

Definitely curious to see how next offseason unravels and who is running the defense and their wants out of the LB group.

Outside of Overshown, definitely a position that has some up for grabs spots.
 
Draft Stutsman. to go with Overshown & Liufau . LVE type pre injuries .
 
Lander Barton, Utah 6'4" -- 240lbs room to grow.

Ability to cover and ability to stop the run. Probably needs a year of real strength work, but seems like a possible legit 3 down MIKE.

What I would like to see is the Ciwboys drafting in the top 10. I’m really not optimistic about us making the playoffs. Finishing in the top 10 would allow us to trade down and get another day 2 selection. I’m hoping we draft a DL player either at DT or DE. Nolen from Old Miss would be nice. After that we need a RB/WR then a Mike LB. We need extra picks because I’m not counting on Jerry signing any free agents.

Unless you land in the top 2 this year, not going to be able to trade back. I would love to add multiple picks, but they have to take the best player available as they have needs across the board.
 
Time to re-visit a linebacker thread in general with Overshown out for possibly 2025.

Do we double dip this position depending on how the draft unfolds?
 
LBr just became a bigger need IMO. DeMo is 2 seasons in and has been injured in both so I’m pretending he doesn’t exist next year and anything he gives us is a bonus.

Don’t see any bona fide 1st round LBs but some good round 2-4 options.
 
Read something today that said Walkers grade as an ILB is in the 50s and as a pass rusher is in the 80s. Hell likely get the Micah treatment.

As of now the cream of the crop is Bamas MLB. He appears to be your prototype size with sideline to sideline speed and some good games in the SEC. I think Mel had him in his top 32 but 1st round is too rich where we’re picking.

After that I think Jay Higgins is a good option. He’s the high IQ / instinctual player weve been wanting he’s just not quite as athletic. Probably a Nick Bolton type.

If you want a downhill guy that is great against the run but doesn’t give you much in coverage the OK kid fits that bill to a tee.

Need to check out a few more but seems like just an ok class.
