TNF: Rams at 49ers

Wouldn't we want SFO to win for draft position?
In a way we want them to lose due to strength of schedule. In the draft, ranking for teams with identical records is strength of schedule. Lowest to highest. This is why right now we would draft after Cincinnati and New Orleans despite losing to both of them (and we all are 5-8).

So a loss by them lowers our strength of schedule and helps in that regard.

Hope that helps you feel better about them losing. I don't need a reason.

Even though we lost to both?

Yeah right now they are 10 and 11 in the draft and we are 12th. Even though we lost to them they use strength of schedule to determine order due to lack of common opponents. Not sure when head to head comes into the equation.

Here is the order after last week.

New Orleans 10, Cincinnati 11, Dallas 12.

Fair enough....but dumb. I'd think if we lost then we get the advantage for head to head. But I suppose it deters tanking.

Draft is determined by SOS only, no common games, no head to head. If a tie then it is a coin flip.
Thats it. Unless they changed ot.

I would agree but understand why it is the way it is. Only reason I knew that was because my idiot Commanders fan brother in law tried to tell me that the Commanders were the better team one year we had the same record because we drafted before them the next draft...

After we swept them. Again. Haha.

So I looked it up.

Stanford had to not slide, or he would have been short. Good play.

Oh man! That rain is really getting after it! That's gotta be miserable to play in.

Anyone watching or cares.
Go Rams.

They are whining how injured the 49ers have been. What… what team isn’t inured. Not many.

Go Rams.
Their injuries have been brutal, but they still have a top TE, two WRs, and tough guys on D. Losing both RBs has killed them because Purdy does have limitations, and Shannahan uses the run game to set him up. Plus their starting QB!
