11 Penn State

Parsons is probably his most accurate NFL player comparison.

Carter is a twitched up, incredibly fast, bendy, explosive edge rusher who is a bit undersized to play DE, but uses his ridiculous speed to get to the QB. He’s also stronger than his size would suggest, like Micah. He has the ability to play LB but is better rushing the passer. That’s his strength.

I like him. A lot. But I don’t think he’s there when Dallas picks.

If he is, then Dallas really needs to consider taking him because him and Micah off the edges would form a completely ridiculous pass rush.

Micah is the reason Carter won't make it to Dallas.

He will be the second non quarterback drafted because of Parsons ironically. If it was me I would take him or Hunter over the quarterbacks.

That's not saying much ..........according to a couple of GMs ( per one writer ), no QB in this year's draft is rated above any of the 5-6 QBs taken in the 1st round of the 2024 draft.

We might have a chance to get him, but it will probably be a slim chance.

Watch the upcoming Georgia game. Keep an eye on Georgia LB Jalon Walker.

I think he would be a nice LB but also has the ability to be a impressive Pass Rusher.

I bring up this name as he might be a choice they look out.

For me it is
Hunter
McMillian
Graham
Carter

Those are my dream guys but they all may be gone.

But for pass rushers you might be able to get Walker or Tennessee's Pearce.

Luckily the Giants and Raiders will make that choice. Not us. I think two quarterbacks go in the top 10 but only one goes in the top 5.

The Raiders will definitely take one ( likely Sander ) but some insiders nuggets are suggesting the Giants could be a landing spot for Darnold if the Vikings can't keep him. As one put it, that would open a ton of options for their 1st or 2nd overall pick including drafting Hunter.

It depends on who the Giants coach is. Darnold back in New York? I am not sure if he wants to do that.

Watched the PSU SMU game today.

Seems lately If I catch a Penn State game on TV, watching #11 playing for Penn State, sometimes I forget I not watching Parsons play. They even kind of look the same in pads and uniform.
He is a poor man's Parsons, but with these late wins, will be long gone.

Why? He never played for the Giants. I can def see a good fit......solid ownership, solid pieces on defense, and just drafted a top WR. Smart move by G-men IMO. Draft Hunter......and RB with 2nd rounder.

Solid ownership? The Giants fans hate Mara as much as we hate Booger and son. Darnold is gonna go where he feels comfortable because there is a market for him. You do realize he has been a bust everywhere but Minnesota. He probably would want a similar coordinator and coaches as the Vikings. I think Seattle and Tennessee would be perfect for him.

Agreed it's uncanny. What a prospect

I really don't see how he differs that much when Parsons played college ball.

That said, as mentioned, Carter plays defensive end (switched this season) while Parsons played linebacker in college.

Looking, they're both the same height and relative same weight.

When I see Carter running around on the field wearing #11, I really don't see that much difference between the two.

Carter still has a year left to play, seems like he'd go pro, but I guess that's up in the air?

Carter is Parsons had Penn State figured out to put Parsons on the Edge.
I'm honestly wondering if PSU looked at what the cowboys had done to Parsons to give PSU the idea in the first place of switching Carter...
