This really unfair to the rest of the league with our roster acquisitions. The sky is the limit for the Cowboys with an already loaded roster

12 and 44 have to be Day 1 upgrades at a starting position. No developmental or injury projects. We should be able to draft plug and play players at those spots.

The key to how well we do in this draft might come on what we do with those fifth rd picks.
Sounds kind of crazy but that is my hunch.

Trading a 4th to start was an issue.

Now, after seeing him play on our team (disappointing) and knowing it is a higher 4th round pick just makes it that much worse.

So does stepping into a wonky offense with a backup QB and a OC who wouldn't get him on the field make any difference?

Was his disappointing? If he was, you probably had your expectations too high. That trade was for next year not this year as Cooks is not expected to return.

Was his disappointing? If he was, you probably had your expectations too high. That trade was for next year not this year as Cooks is not expected to return.

2 seasons: 60 catches, 127 targets, 0 TDs.

Disappointing is being nice.

We need to find a true #2 and let Mingo try to beat out Tolbert for the 3rd spot, but I don't see that happening.
