Philly had one of the worst defenses in the NFL last year. This year they now have a Top 3 D.

Amazing how quickly you can change things with a smart offseason that upgrades coaching and a few key positions.

How many think Jerry could pull that off?

Yes

Yes, it is amazing how good your Defense becomes when you rush for 3,000+ yards.

Most fans are asking for receivers tight ends and running backs lol. They don't care about the defense. I've said it before, most fans hate Jerry but think just like him.
Best way to improve our crap defense? How about keep it off the field?

RB 1st (if possible) and DT in 2nd round.
I still think Best Player available is the way to go go, if you want to have a high success rate.

Common sense would tell you to draft early, the most expensive positions, and add in other areas later in the draft and in free agency.

I also agree with you. Just a question (not a draft expert) . So if the best player available is a TE or RG you still take it? Even if its not a need?

That is the biggest challenge. In those cases if not a need, then you hope to be able to trade back. Some times you can't find a dance partner. Balancing these 3 things, I believe are the biggest challenge.

Best Player Available
Biggest Needs
High $ Positions

I am a firm believer that a great OLine makes everyone's job easier.

H_ _ _ no! You take the next available player that is a need.

You have no starting caliber DT’s, and 3 starting caliber guards, but you still take a guard ranked just above a DT! Stupid!!

That seems like an accurate and fair decision. Thanks sir :)

I was literally just telling a friend that very same thing. It's amazing how many morons want to draft the RB from Boise in the first round. Even if Abdul Carter is there, one person argued with me. Can't make this up.
