I know some people really want the star RB and some people want to focus on other positions but I just heard that the Eagles had more rushing TDs yesterday than Dallas had all year. 7 to 6. Crazy stat.

The more I think about it, the more I realize that Jeanty's college touches may scare off Stephen Jones. RBs wear and tear is a huge priority with him. I can certainly see them going OLine ( Martin's replacement ). Stephen's preference is to draft a player in the top 15 you can trust being with the team for 8-10 years. ( think CB, WR, OLine )

Eagles had a tackle, guard and center on the Pro Bowl roster for Barkley to run behind. Jeanty's not going to set the league on fire unless our line gets a lot better, and if you spend your first pick on Jeanty the available top linemen list gets thin very quickly.

Of course if you spend your first couple of picks on linemen you may not have a good running back left in the draft.

Decisions, decisions....

I’m picking him and not looking back. His 4 years with a 5th year option coincides with Dak and Schotty’s contracts. Just enough time to give us 8,000 yards.

Jeanty might look closer to NY Saquon than Philly Saquon due to the state of our OL. And will he be a factor when our defense gets us down early?

We’ve don’t have the luxury to take a RB at 12. There will closely rated players at much more expensive and valuable positions available.

They spent a first on Tyler three years ago and Guyton just last season. Beene was a 3rd rounder. Hoffman / Bass / Richard’s all seem like plus players and have proven they can play in the league.

I like Jeanty. But I love a guy like Henderson or Judkins in round 2 or 3.
