Super Bowl LIX Game Thread

You guys talking ish about Hurts who's been to two Super Bowls, nearly won the first one, and is having an excellent Super Bowl this time, at some point in life, you'll learn.
Learn what? You like most people don’t know football because y’all give the qb waaaaayyyyy toooooo much credit smdh. This isn’t a singles sport

Eagles roster is superior, to even the Chiefs roster...let alone the Cowboys. Hec, the Eagles roster is probably a bit better than the best of the Cowboys, Commanders and Giants collectively.

And it all starts with the trenches. Their front 4 controls the game, so then calling defensive plays is rather easy (just stop the run, and then sit back with 7 defenders on pass plays, rushing only 4). And with Saquon, calling offensive plays is rather easy, because for most passing plays, the Dee is locked up in 1-on-1 man coverage because there are 8 and 9 men in the box to stop Saquon. So the passing game can be basic.

It's easy football, when a team is built right. The Cowboys of the 90s were this way too...it was basic football. A lot of Emmit Smith because the o-line was so dominant, and a lot of coverage defenses because the Dee line was super strong.

Football ain't rocket science. You don't HAVE to have a Mahomes to win a Superbowl, you need a team built from the inside out.

I bet Kellen Moore will win a SB as Head Coach of Saints before Jerry ever see the NFC Championship game again.
It's not unfathomable to predict that. Why would anyone expect anything else other than misery for us?

It’s a particularly good story that we didn’t need Saquon to do this. There was a lot of talk this year that he was our crutch; an above average team carried by an OPOY

Not today

I truly doubt Jerry will ever see one again, not being mean but they will continue to do the same dumb approach.

I'd argue the Cowboys roster is superior to the Chiefs. Well maybe that's extreme. But I don't think Chiefs roster is that good but if they can get Rice back healthy...with Hollywood, Worthy..they'd look a lot better receiver wise.
