But he also was like their 4th or 5th FA signing after they spent on Huff (who was a bust), Gardner Johnson, Barkley, etc.

They didn’t count on him to be a solution to a problem. He was signed basically as depth. In Dallas, he’d have been our big offseason signing, LOL.

Anyway cowboys could free up too 100 million in cap this year, the way the eagles structure there contracts , all of them are backloaded. They legit went all in , hurts , Barkley all have low *** cap numbers, hurts has a 98 million cap hit in 2029 (void year, malata whatever his name is 35 million, (void year), aj brown high cap year that year too ( void year) both not on contract that year, ITS ALL ABOUT VOID YEARS.

What Howie did isn’t rocket science, he’s just a GM who legit goes all in every damn year, cowboys once again can free up 100 million and sign big time players this year for peanuts, and just backload the contract. Don’t over do the sour grapes. My lord, they beat the Packers twice, they beat the Rams twice, they beat Washington twice, they swept the vaunted AFC North. No one beat the Eagles “going away”, and the Rams were lucky to be in the playoffs. The Eagles are much, much better than the Dallas Cowboys.
