Super Bowl LIX Game Thread

Do eagles have lot free agents? Need thej
Lose some people. Or could be trouble for years.
Sweat DE 2.5 sacks tonight
Milton Williams DT 2 sacks tonight
Mekhi Becton
And that all pro LBer who had a pick tonight

Anyway cowboys could free up too 100 million in cap this year, the way the eagles structure there contracts , all of them are backloaded. They legit went all in , hurts , Barkley all have low *** cap numbers, hurts has a 98 million cap hit in 2029 (void year, malata whatever his name is 35 million, (void year), aj brown high cap year that year too ( void year) both not on contract that year,

What Howie did isn’t rocket science, he’s just a GM who legit goes all in every damn year, cowboys once again can free up 100 million and sign big time players this year for peanuts, and just backload the contract. WONT HAPPEN. But this should be the darn way! It’s all about the void years, could get Milton Williams , Josh Sweat, he’ll trade for Myles too. And we could be fine on the cap . The jones make too much a big deal about the cap. And always on that “Future” crap.
Why free up $100 million with Dak Prescott at Quarterback? Immobile, regressing, terrible in the play offs and taking up a huge % of the salary cap. You don't throw good money after bad.

Funny watching Mahomes pad his stats like Dak at the end although Dak wouldn't have been able to throw that dime to Worthy
True statement both, particularly about that dime to Worthy at the end in the end zone. That was a deep pass perfectly thrown exactly where it needed to be. Oh well.

I'll admit....never saw it coming. Still don't think he's that great. Just happened to not crash the bus.
I didn't think Doug Williams was that great, especially with the Bucs. But he had a Super Bowl to dream about.

You know Jerry will spin this as to why he is vindicated. “Well of course we had a down season, look who we played? Washington and Philly in the NFCCG? We weren’t ACTUALLY that bad. Our record was worse than it really is. Everything is fine”
You're probably right but in my dream scenario, he's on his yacht throwing a temper tantrum and getting hammered on Johnnie Walker Blue. After a while, he decides to jump overboard and Stephen has to put on his tiny pink speedo and inflatable arm bands to go save his papa. We never hear from them again.

I like my story better than yours.

Don't be shocked when it does....and someone tosses out that ridiculous Rooney rule as well.

The storm is coming...

I wouldn’t be surprised if "that someone" tosses out the Rooney Rule. For some reason, a certain crowd of weak minded losers don't like the idea of equality for everyone and want to bury the history of atrocities. They want things to go back to the days of a one-sided society.

He has one of the best deep balls in the league? I don’t get your comment?
Look at Hurts

they will likely lose Williams and sweat. Those two, Williams esp benefited from Jalen Carter getting all of the attention. Myles Garrett next to Carter would be ridiculous.

But he also was like their 4th or 5th FA signing after they spent on Huff (who was a bust), Gardner Johnson, Barkley, etc.

They didn’t count on him to be a solution to a problem. He was signed basically as depth. In Dallas, he’d have been our big offseason signing, LOL.
Remember Devin White? Feels like an eternity ago

We got this guy from UTexas named Moro Ojomo. I think he’ll work out pretty good taking Milton’s playing time. Howie already planned for this

Shows how good the Rams are as well. They came to within a couple of plays to beating the Eagles in the play offs. They also have an exciting young defense with a Superbowl winning QB like the Eagles.

Big difference is the objective is to remove DEI hiring. The Rooney Rule has no requirements for DEI hiring, just interview more people than originally planned. That probably won’t be touched

That was the most dominant SB performance by a defensive line in league history,....considering it came against a dynasty and a top 3 All Time QB
Sigh....funny how people forget Superbowl XXVII.....

Bills sacked 4 times...5 forced fumbles...4 interceptions...

Still Super Bowl record 9 turnovers caused.
