Las Vegas is fading the Cowboys next year

The Cowboys seem to do better when expectations and hype isn't as high. They can just focus on football and not the spotlight of having arrived.

It'll just make the Super Bowl win that much sweeter

Yesterday for the first time i said: Eagles won the SB? Good for them

Because i have no real hope that we are going anywhere in the near future
You mean because the architect of the roster most recent comments were "I paid the highest paid player in the league last year and if I pay Micah a whole bunch of money this offseason I think that would be pretty good." You are saying after 7 and 10 that doesnt scresm championship?

The only thing that fueled the Parcells years was Jerry wanting to get public funding for the new stadium. He was absolutely miserable giving so much control to Parcells and watching him get all the credit for turning the team around. Once Big Bill left Jerry went back to his old ways, just with a better roster at hand.
Yep, and I mentioned that…but honestly the last cling of hope is if he just can’t sell his crap any longer.

I realize that’s a long shot but I’m not entirely ready to throw this out of my life just yet. They need to be humiliated to where no one wants to bother to stick a mic in their faces any longer.

good. Maybe they'll go 15-2 then. Because there aren't many people in the world that expect anything good out of them.

Sounds about right. People evading falling items in Ukraine know more about the state of this franchise than it’s owners and FO staff do.

Even worse. We’ll be in the middle.
There's the problem. Being good enough to beat anyone or lose to anyone is the definition of mediocrity and right in the Jones' wheelhouse. They get to keep riding the popularity and the mystique of the America's Team BS and cashing those checks.

When has this team ever drafted well, though this millenium? I don't mean a few 1st rounders here and there but consistently? Dallas after the 1st round is pretty poor. But for whatever reason, Will McClay is considered some draft guru. Dallas misses on majority of their picks after the 1st round and spend so many other drafts trying to correct those misses. And endless cycle. Where as teams like the Eagles just continue to build and keep it moving forward, not going in circles. How many holes does Philly have next year? I don't see any, at all. They are loaded and this is 100% due to their front office vision,.
their roster is loaded due to active FA and getting multiple first rounders in trades.

Odds go where the wind blows

Cowboys are lacking in overall talent right now but they won't have the burden of being NFC East Champions next season(a curse since 2004) and they won't be playing a first place schedule next season. There is some hope if JJ is proactive. 10 wins get you in and 10 wins is not out the realm if Schotty is at least competent
Who cares about getting into the playoffs? The Cowboys have zero chance in the playoffs, especially with Dak as QB. There is no hope until Jerry gives up control of the team to someone who knows what they're doing.
