Winning the Superbowl is the key part here, not being a good team or making the playoffs.

No belief from vegas that they have the QB/HC to actually win the entire thing. Could still have a good record during the reg season but being clutch when it counts is more important in the playoffs.

Does it matter what the odds are of Dallas winning the Super Bowl? Place you bets but you are throwing away money because there is 0 chance they go to the Super Bowl at this point. We have no idea what kind of offseason they will have but I don't think that matters either. The Eagles and Commanders are both going to get better and if the Giants find a QB, the Cowboys will finish last in the division.

There is no reason at this point to assume Dallas is a contender.

Dallas is probably as it sits a 3rd place in NFCE projection.
But long time before we get to pre-season the rosters will change by 30%+ and odds will change.

Cowboys fans needs to stop buying tickets and putting money in Jerry's pockets. He can keep this delusion going because fans keep financing it. There's literally nowhere we've gotten better. It's not like we had an absolutely smoking offense this past year orchestrated by Shotty that was hamstrung by a super bad defense. We had an average offense to match with the average defense, but we go ahead and make Shotty the HC due to Jerry Jones comfort level.

This is not a winning organization. You merely have to look at the decision making process of the FO. None of it screams winning football. It all screams comfort level and 'trying to win MY way'. The problem is that even though we're constantly losing, Jerry can still console himself with the fact that he's making money hand over fist.

When has this team ever drafted well, though this millenium? I don't mean a few 1st rounders here and there but consistently? Dallas after the 1st round is pretty poor. But for whatever reason, Will McClay is considered some draft guru. Dallas misses on majority of their picks after the 1st round and spend so many other drafts trying to correct those misses. And endless cycle. Where as teams like the Eagles just continue to build and keep it moving forward, not going in circles. How many holes does Philly have next year? I don't see any, at all. They are loaded and this is 100% due to their front office vision,.

I hear you but it’s actually the only hope I got. Team is going to be hovering around.500 or below for the next few seasons.
Have to hope they can at least draft ok for the next few seasons, because I don’t really expect them to do anything on the field anytime soon.
