What the blue blazes is this..? Context should always matter.
History is always relevant. As far as I am concerned,
every Cowboys fan can brag about the franchise winning five Lombardi trophies. They happened. They were celebrated. They exist.
However, history are periods in time. Every topic should not be lumped together into one all-encompassing era. Dinosaurs went extinct 66 million years ago. Dinosaur bones were first displayed in museums in the 1870s. CGI dinosaurs have been devouring idiots visiting
Jurassic Park for the past three decades.
Elementary students can go on a field trip to the museum and get ALL excited about the dinosaurs they saw but their experience is relative in terms of reality. Thank goodness it is because none of the rugrats would ever come home if it was real dinosaurs they went bonkers over.
Heck. Some Dallas fans might never go home, if by some miracle, they celebrated themselves into a heart attack seeing the team ever win ANOTHER Lombardi.
Again, context matters. Yes. The Dallas Cowboys franchise has won five Super Bowls. They fall within an exclusive upper tier of overall NFL championship winners but to paraphrase Janet Jackson, "What have the Dallas Cowboys won for its fans
lately lately lately lately..?"
