Most Super Bowl wins in history - just a reminder

The people who disagree think winning 12 games in the regular season is just as good as winning playoff games.

In other words ....... Jerry Boot-lickers
I am not sure if that is what they mean, but we have not been the worse team in our division for the last 24 years. I also don't consider myself a Jerry boot licker. He was king of the hill in the beginning but after Jimmy left its been a real struggle. Those of us that have been watching the Cowboys since the 60's remember when football was football. So much has changed. I know I miss it.

Its been 29 years since a SB or even Divisional round win.

Could you imagine in 1995 when we went to our 8th SB and won our 5th and there was a team that from SB I in ‘66 til then who had never been to a SB or Conf. Champ game? That team is now us.

I believe this thread is just a response to the other one that claims the Eagles have as many championships as we do.

Pre SB titles included I think that is correct.

a couple in the 40's, and in 1960 when they became the only team to ever beat the GB Packers under Lombardi in the Championship game. So that is three with the two SBs which makes five; the same as us

Dallas has been the worst team in the division the last 24 years?

Yes. Eagles and Giants are light years ahead of us. Both have 2 Super Bowl rings. Giants have 3 total appearances. Eagles have 4 appearances.

Comes down to Washington. 1 NFC championship appearance for Washington. 0 for us. They have the better accomplishment and have gotten closer to the Super Bowl than we have.

? That honor still goes to Washington nfc title game or not that team has been garbage the past 33 years one great year doesn’t negate that
How can you say this? Washnington just ended its CCG drought, and ours is now the longest in the entire NFC.

The Cowboys are not only the worst playoff team in the NFC East the last 24 years, they are the worst playoff team in the entire NFC the last 24 years.

It sucks, but it's the truth.

living in the past… Dallas has been the worst team in the division the last 24 years. I was 6 the last time Dallas did anything.
They will at some point win again in the future. The Patriots, the all time leader has been one of the worst teams in the league at different times. Now and in the past.

They will get better at some point.

Yes, when there were 1/3 to 1/2 as many teams in the league.

Despite making it to the conference title game this past season Washington has been the worst team in the division since 2000. They’ve only made the playoffs 6 times while the Cowboys have made the playoffs 10 times. Washington hadn’t won a playoff since their last SB win in 91 until 2024. This past season doesn’t make up for all the futility Washington has been through the past 24 years.

Perhaps this past season doesn't make up for the Commanders past futility, but their prospects for future success are brighter than ours. They at least have a young, emerging QB to be excited about going forward. Us? We likely have to suffer another 3-4 years of mediocrity because we hitched our wagon to an aging QB who hasn't demonstrated that he can beat quality teams beyond the wildcard round.

Their prospects for the future are brighter but prior to this past season they had it far worse than the Cowboys. We had 4 playoff wins to their zero playoff wins until this past season. Their team was forced to change their name and they had a disgraced owner who got the boot. I know Cowboys Nation is frustrated, especially with Philly winning the SB but some fans are making the past 3 decades out to far worse than it’s been. One fan posted the Cowboys are the worst organization in the league. Things haven’t been great and aren’t looking good going forward but let’s keep it real. It’s bad but there’s teams that are going through worse.

Just saying ......lol

What the blue blazes is this..? Context should always matter.

History is always relevant. As far as I am concerned, every Cowboys fan can brag about the franchise winning five Lombardi trophies. They happened. They were celebrated. They exist.

However, history are periods in time. Every topic should not be lumped together into one all-encompassing era. Dinosaurs went extinct 66 million years ago. Dinosaur bones were first displayed in museums in the 1870s. CGI dinosaurs have been devouring idiots visiting Jurassic Park for the past three decades.

Elementary students can go on a field trip to the museum and get ALL excited about the dinosaurs they saw but their experience is relative in terms of reality. Thank goodness it is because none of the rugrats would ever come home if it was real dinosaurs they went bonkers over.

Heck. Some Dallas fans might never go home, if by some miracle, they celebrated themselves into a heart attack seeing the team ever win ANOTHER Lombardi.

Again, context matters. Yes. The Dallas Cowboys franchise has won five Super Bowls. They fall within an exclusive upper tier of overall NFL championship winners but to paraphrase Janet Jackson, "What have the Dallas Cowboys won for its fans lately lately lately lately..?"

....wither these peeps like it or not.

We are ONE win away from tying and two for taken the crown..

....just saying...:). .
