I know I much prefer a 30 year CCG drought with no end in sight to the horrors of cap hell for winning a couple of Super Bowls.

Yes, even if they did have to purge their roster, I think Philthy fans would be OK with that if that's what it took to get a Super Bowl title. Now, a couple of poor years and they'll start throwing batteries at their coaches again, but Philly and others have shown you can retool a team quickly.

Haze has written a couple of posts here about this in the past.
There are actual CZ guys that prefer the same regular season banner crap to instead suck a few years at the expense of an actual championship year.
They are either near or distant Jones clan.
Absolutely clueless on what actual football team goals should be.

Remember how bad the secondary was last year. In one season totally rebuilt.

A lot of them lack the ability to think in three dimensions rather than the two dimensional thinking of the "here and now".

There was a study on this called the "Marshmallow Test". This test is a much better indicator of high I.Q. than the MENSA test.

It is absolutely amazing to me how so many don't comprehend how you have to lose to win. Just shocking.
 
He's an idiot. He was an idiot when everyone bought his crap about the cap not being a real thing, and he's still an idiot now. He doesn't know what he is doing and it shows. He went from burning money because the salary cap was a "myth" (Stephen's air quotes somewhere out there) to being one of the stingiest free agent spenders in the NFL. The only real difference now is that he realizes the cap is the ultimate constraining factor and he still doesn't know how to make it work. From signing everyone to signing no one. He spends all his cap space on keeping a mediocre team mediocre. To his credit, he's no longer digging a hole as deep as he had it. The problem now is that he has no idea how to fill it in and there is nothing in how they run the team to suggest that if they ever got back into good shape that they wouldn't immediately revert digging a hole again by signing washed up rental players at top dollar prices.
 
The idiots that defend this mentality LOL.....So the Eagles have to make some "tough decisions" so what, they have 2 Titles in 8 years. They act like it's "Sophie's Choice" or something or Howie Roseman and Jeff Laurie are going to face a literal firing squad.....***

Whether youre talking Cowboy team building philosophy on a micro or macro level, the last quarter century's failure always rightfully comes back to the egotistical narcissistic GodFather who has managed this place.

Thankfully, us old timers have our distant memories of the glory years.
My hat is off to anyone who became a Cowboy fan post '96.

Not sure I understand them.
But I still tip my hat to 'em all the same.
