Loaded DT class this year

Well then as many have said, double dip. Its not like we are better than mediocre at the position right now. Actually more like below average.

Take one in the first round or risk getting another Mazi if Dallas waits until later rounds. Draft Grant first!

i hope they don't go back to ignoring that position.
mazi is playing better...hopefully we keep osa.
but we still need more.
can never have enough.
•one of the michigan twins
•one of those ducks from oregon
•nolan,ole miss
•walker,ky
•black,iowa
•cam jackson,florida
just gimmie 1 of'm.
i'd prefer 2.
but give me 1 at least.

We will single dip in rd 6 and then do high fives

Does that count?

I don't see how they keep Osa if he is getting top dollar with DT shortage in the NFL. So only choice is to draft one pretty high.

100% agree.

If I was running the show I’d resign Osa and add a cheaper vet run clogger.

Then get your young stud DT in the first 2 rounds and another run clogger in the 5th for the long term.

Surprised Nebraska’s Nash Hutmacher is not invited to the Combine

It seems like when there is a glut at a position in the draft that the FA class is less expensive. I wonder if that would allow us to keep Osa, and then still draft one?

Graham is almost a dead lock to go right after the top five and almost certainly top 10.
The next three after him are Harmon, Nolen Grant in any order. IF we could somehow get two of them and then a RB in the top three rds I would chug a whole fifth of Southern Comfort in celebration.

IWho would yould you want them to take in the 1st and 2nd at DT?
At 12, Nolen or Harmon. With a slight tradedown, Grant if both Nolen and Harmon are gone. Second round, Tyleik Williams or Alfred Collins. Me though? I'd take one in the first and another in the third. Something like ... Nolen at 12 and Jordan Phillips or Deone Walker or Joshua Farmer at 88, depending on who is there, of course. I'd try to use that second-round pick on an RB (Omarion Hampton, Kaleb Johnson or TreVeyon Henderson).

Gimme Nolen, Collins and Quinshon Judkins or Dylan Sampson, though, and I'd be happy with DTs in the first two rounds, but I'd want us to take another RB later on. And I want us to take another DT later on as well. It's a deep class, so take advantage of it to try to stock weaknesses.

Of course, if you gave me Ashton Jeanty, Tyleik Williams/Collins and Jordan Phillips/Walker, I'd be happy with that as well.

Not 88. I was using that as a placeholder for our pick, which is 76.

For me, get Nolen/Harmon in the 1st, and see if one of the Nebraska boys fall into day 3 near our picks.

Try for that stud DT in round 1, and then get that guy who should be that lunchpail solid DT that either can be depth or be counted on in a rotation.

I like the idea of trading back 3-5 spots and grabbing whoever you like between Grant/Nolen at DT.

We might have to take lesser value in a trade unless someone is really anxious to move up.

In the 2nd, hope one of the top 3 RBs on your board is available, if not, maybe Harmon, a WR or CB.
