All Cowboys contact with prospects for 2025 Draft

I can see Dallas really liking many of the Ole Miss players because of the style of D they played this year AND the exemplary numbers those guys had. Both starting DT’s had 14 TFL - BOTH OF THEM!!!!! In fact, they had 6 guys with 11+ TFL (and MLB Chris Paul was one of them). That D was stout.

Tahj Brooks is a sleeper pick for rounds 4-6. As a big Texas Tech fan I saw him play in person 5 times over several seasons. Not fast but has incredible vision and balance. Makes guys miss, is an excellent pass blocker and has surprisingly good hands as a receiver. Had back to back 1,500 yards rushing and is very durable.

He would probably not be an every down back at the next level but as a 5-7 carries a game “change of pace” type guy I think he would be an excellent addition.

I can’t see the Cowboys keeping Rico Dowdle based on his market value so I see the Cowboys needing two backs next year to tote the rock. So they may draft two this year.

Reminds me of the Texans RB Pierce. Between the tackles is his wheelhouse. Moves the chains and is better in the RedZone. To utilize him best he will need to be paired with a RB that can take it to the house. I see a 3 headed monster setting up. Rico, Brooks and Neal. I know Neal doesn't strike anyone as a long speed guy, but I've seen that dude take over games in college. He can score from anywhere in the field. He's low to the ground and is elite at using his blockers then seeing it, hitting it quick.

I almost want some other team to draft Jeanty in front of us so we don’t have to deal with it. The pick would be better spent on another position.
Don't understand the logic. With the exception of kicker and punter, there is no position i would rule out as a 1st round pick . People lobby taking another receiver in the first over Jeanty.

Cowboys need to trade down (preferably twice) in the 1st round and pick up an extra 2nd, 3rd, maybe a 4th and an extra 5th round pick.

If Jerry were serious about semi-rebuilding and filling our position holes of concern with good young drafted talent, he would trade down twice in the 1st round (from #12 to the early 20s, then trade again from the early 20s into the late 1st round) and pick up several extra round picks in the 2nd, 3rd and possibly a 4th round pick added on. Then go to school and do some damage picking up some very good talent late in the 1st, twice in the 2nd round, twice in the 3rd round, possibly a 4th round pick, and an extra 5th rounder added to the current plethora of 5th round picks. That would be the best way to help fill our holes with pretty good talent that could help this team improve immediately.
