Of course, the dead money hit will still come down the line for Dallas, but this is a step in the right direction for the present, as the Cowboys try to reload a roster that was devastated by injuries in 2024, including one to Lamb's shoulder.

Those are the dregs of the league. Several good teams have blown it up and started over. Eagles, Texans, NYG. Pats are in the process of it, might work if they'd quit drafting the Mac Jones's of the draft.

I don't know that the Eagles blew it up besides changing QBs. The Giants just had lousy talent so it kind of looked like a blow up while dumping Jones. I guess we all have different definitions of a blowup. Sometimes it may be the QB, other times it may be getting rid of a couple pieces that carry value.

In the meantime we are the most valued fesnchise and highest earning. Last year we were second most watched team in NFL behind Detroit. So why blow it up? Remember the goal is not championships...

Part of Hoffman's value is not only his versatility – playing both center and guard – but his toughness and never-back-down mentality. More than that, the Cowboys also saw some success with Hoffman in the lineup as the running game improved dramatically down the stretch.

In 2025, Hoffman is expected to compete at guard or center, depending on what the Cowboys do with Cooper Beebe, who started last year at center for 16 games. Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer said the possibility of moving Beebe back to guard is on the table, but not for now.

Why are you guys so against rebuilding? It's weird.

Houston won 4 games or more for 3 straight years before a winning record. They didn't dismantle to get better, they weren't "mantled" to begin with.

Lots of luck involved. Jets have tried several times and failed. Lots of other teams as well.

Our chance to do it passed us by after 23.

Who did they get rid of that was a high quality player? The only one that would be a consideration was Watson, and he had only played 6 games in 2 years, plus was a PR problem.

Tanked? They went 3 straight years with 4 wins or less. Are you saying they tanked 3 straight years? The reality is they already sucked
