Anyone else concerned we never draft freak wrs?

The last freak as dez and he wasn't fast. He had freak leaping and size. We never draft bib fast guys. We always target guys who run 4.51-457. Wouldn't it be nice to draft a guy 220 p!us and faster than 4.49? Would it hurt us to draft a big guy who runs 4.45? I know flour not runs 4.44 but he's 6'1 and I doubt he'll ever get more than 3tzrgets in a game.

I know man, where's the next Heyward-Bey? Kidding, but look I'm pretty happy with Ceedee, there is more to it than just straight top end speed and I don't think there's a huge difference from 4.49 to 4.44. Who knows the 4.44 guy may be the same speed as the 4.49 guy when they put on pads and helmet.

But I'm with you in that it would be nice to add another playmaking option along side Ceedee. Either a tall possession type receiver or the blazing fast slot type receiver.

Great receivers aren't always freaks. Lamb isn't close to a freak. I'm saying a top receiver ho also HS elite size and speed

I don't know about never, but it would be nice to grab a speed receiver for a change. I was disappointed with Bond's combine but after a closer look his top speed was 2nd highest at the combine. That what you want in a speed guy. Once he gets going he outruns everyone else. I think he is going to go early second or maybe even the 1st.

It still irks me we traded away the 4th round pick for Mingo.

I mean, being big and fast doesn't mean anything in the NFL unless they have the route running part down.
For every Metcalf, there's tons of guys who run 4.3s or low 4.4 and are just roster fodder cause all they have is straight line speed.

What you're looking for is an unicorn.

The last WR we drafted that fit your rough measurements Fehoko. Was 6'4", 222lb and ran a 4.43 40.

TOTALLY agree there's several WR's that are also tall and fast, i'd love for us to get some fast fast guys guys that run a 4.2, 4.3 etc!!!
