Wasn't even a starter in a terrible Denver backfield. This dude sucks...also I'm bitter because he cost me $300k after getting injured in the 1st qtr of week 4 against the Bears in 2023. I needed 10 points in the late game to seal a 1st place win on FD Million dollar pool. Ended up in 7th. He's dead to me.

I've followed Williams for two seasons now because he was on one of my fantasy football teams. After his major knee injury 3 years ago he has not been the same. He isn't even as good as Dowdle.

Basically by not signing him what the lad meant was your in effect trading him for a comp . Although Dowdle being an UDFA originally not sure what “ comp “ pick you get ?

The thing that confuses me is that in the 5th-7th rounds you can probably draft another RB and they would be probably at least as able and cheaper. But ok.

Broncos played him and ran him in obvious run fits into stacked boxes with a bad OL. They did more RPO with the other backs. When they threw him the ball he was really good. I watched every game this kid played at home in college. If he is healthy and not handicapped by several injuries this guy is a great signing. What's better than great signing? That's what this is.

The comp pick is mainly based on the amount of money the player signs for. Supposedly their production in that first season plays a role but I've never seen how that affects it.

But to get it you can't have similar signings that would cancel it out.
