For the Cowboy perspective, losing Lewis hurt, but the rest are depth type pieces that are very replaceable. Fa just has begun, they are going to sign more players.

Couple thoughts about the rest of the conference:

-Washington certainly have gotten better with the additions of Deebo, Tunsil.
-49ers have blown up their roster as they finally have to pay their QB.
-Seahawks have done the same and are going into a big retooling of their roster
-Detroit lost their starting corner and found a marginal upgrade in Reed.
-Eagles lost a few good pieces on their defense, including two key starters
-Vikings will be hurt by the loss of Darnold.
-Chicago is having a very quiet, excellent offseason.
-Will the Rams be much better replacing Kupp with Adams?

You think we'd pick up a 49er and a few Eagles to put our defense over the top with 100M in cap available.

We act like we're not interested; these guys can't be this blind.

We need LB's and D Lineman. Maybe we'll bring back Hankins on a 1-year deal for 2M.

Shore up the run defense

I like Lewis. A lot. Did we even make an offer? Lol… doubt it.

And now we only have one healthy starting NFL caliber CB on the roster. Crazy.
He might’ve been a Nickel, but he was our best and most reliable CB.

Diggs is done and Bland was just a flash in the pan.

Fear not. Our own McClay loves him some DB’s. We will probably draft 3-4…….

Eagles had the luxury of letting Slay go. Their two draft picks from last year were really good for them and they likely won't feel the loss of Slay all that much.

The fact you guys keep preaching patience in FA is pretty funny. Cowboys aren't going to do anything that is different than last year or the year before that or the year before that. They are going cheap in FA and likely downgrading at certain spots. They won't find a CB in FA as good as Lewis in what they want to spend. They seem resigned to Dowdle being too much for them, hence the cheaper but worse RB from Denver. They'll find some lame JAG to replace Golston.

And then tell us all their holes will get fixed in the draft. Same plan as before. Same results in 2025. This is a franchise going down. Not up.
