Also our ST coach comes from the 49ers who drafted him. This is a move the new DT coach must have pushed for. He’s coached Solomon for years

I could easily see the team waiting until the third day to add a DT. They've ignored draft strengths before.Better hope these ding dongs actually draft some DT talent in a deep class but stupidity prevails with this FO often, so only time will tell.
Sorry it didn't work out here. Enjoy your new team.I'd have rather scraped together $5MM more and gotten Poona Ford.
I agree, Thomas adds depth but they need a run stuffer, Yes, several deep RB drafts, added nothing.I could easily see the team waiting until the third day to add a DT. They've ignored draft strengths before.

The most frustrating thing about our strategy is we could simply eliminate some of the scrubs we sign and pay the same amount for a couple of legit players. (In a normal off season, not last year)
The reason I rarely buy cheap furniture for example, is it needs to be replaced so quickly and you spend nearly as much or more in the long run. It's usually better to just get quality from go.
Worst equals cheap. What is going on with Jerry and his front office with signing other teams' worst scrubs???
Solomon Thomas' PFF grade for 2024 was horrible at a 45.6 ...

Oh enlighten us football genius. Cowboy way is great right? Jerry doing nothing wrong for 30 yearsThat's great. But a lot of people on here have been watching the Cowboys for a long time and no absolutely nothing about football.
A lot more than the usual dislikers of everything.what do you know about him to say this???
Dtackle class will be deep into the 5th round.I could easily see the team waiting until the third day to add a DT. They've ignored draft strengths before.
Thomas is 6'3, 295 pounds.Listed at 256lbs, is that right? That seems crazy light of an IDL.
My first thought was that that commercial with the Falcons, " I could have had a Falcon!"
We could have had a Poonah or a Rankins or a Reed for that money.
I don't hate it, just odd that we spent for Osa, who is stronger against the pass than the run, then follow it up with this move. That's a lot of cap space without addressing our main weakness on the DL. We still need a big dude in there who can eat up space, and I understand we have Mazi, but he's not enough.
I've been saying we need a vomit emojiWe love to make our weaknesses weaker.
Do we throw up now or later?
