Exactly. There is no logic in the philosophy of the FO or rationale behind their vision for roster construction.

This is the structural problem with Jerry as GM - no football philosophy. He sways in the breeze of the coaches he hires, and he hires poor coaches.

It worked out with Parcells because Parcells would be a good GM.
