At 38 years old (soon to be 39), 6'8", 282 lbs veteran DT Calais Campbell is still a pretty good and productive interior D-lineman.
As shown in this mini-highlight reel breakdown, Calais Campbell was one of the few bright spots for the Dolphins in 2024, and Calais only cost $2 million to play in 2024 for the Dolphins.
Calais Campbell's 2024 PFF Grade was a 82.3 overall as a rotational player with 616 snaps played, 39 pressures (20th out of 219 active D-linemen in 2024), 39 solo tackles (8th out of 219 D-linemen), 5 sacks (23rd / 219 Dls), 10 assists (50th / 219 Dls) and 1 forced fumble (5th / 219 Dls).
He had an Overall Grade of 82.3 (7th / 219 Dls), Run Defense Grade of 85.9 (1st / 219 Dls) and a Pass Rush Grade of 66.2 (52nd / 219 Dls). Very good numbers for a soon to be 39 year old DT who is healthy and still producing good play inside at DT.

He is now an unrestricted free agent. This is exactly the type of help and veteran presence the Cowboys could use in 2025, plus he would be cheap!
Why aren't the Dallas Cowboys interested in bringing Calais Campbell in for an interview?
