This is folks.......think it's safe to the first wave is over. There is not much left if this is the best.

BTW.......this IMO almost guarantees LBer will be one of our top 3 picks

Breaking News: "The first wave is NOT over" per CZ members as FA just started lol, the first wave was over Monday evening, ALL the top players let's say about 90+ percent were GONE and given huge deals

There are still plenty of decent players available that could help us. Not the biggest of names but certainly good enough to plug in.

What baffles me is not the Cowboys avoiding signing big name FAs. What I will never understand is their foot-dragging on signing their own they already know they want.

They could have (should have) already signed Parsons months ago and saved cap space. In the NFL, waiting is losing. For once couldn’t they be proactive and get things done ahead of deadlines?

Jerry famously says (foolishly IMO) that “deadlines make deals”. That may be true in business but in football being ahead of deadlines gives you a better chance of managing your cap better.

WHITE had a terrible pff grade oh my gosh!!
You do know he was coming off an injury, right? And PFF is hilarious with some of their ratings. White was great in 2023 until he tore his biceps off the bone. He struggled last year in his return and had more injuries. If healthy he is at least an average starting LB....which we don't really have much of on this team.

Speed is a good run defender. We need LB help and the draft doesn't have much.

First wave for the Cowboys front office is over until the top 200 FA's are signed

select Campbell quick and fast, not saying he's the saviour or anything. Why not, but if this makes you happy i'll be happy with anything!

Knowing how Eberflus prioritizes LBers, we are going to sign a quality free agent or draft one within the top three rounds.

I get the sentiment but negotiations require both parties. If I was Micah's agent I would not want to be the one to set the market, wait to see what shakes out during FA and the Myles Garrett situation before i would pick up the phone.
