The Cowboys activity is free agency reminds me of the UDFA period. Basically just making sure we have enough players to field a full roster. Nothing of quality has been added.

What they did different this FA year, was because of all the noise about not doing anything in FA all these years and after this disaster of a season, they just resigned there on players and sign other teams players earlier than the 4th week, like they normally do and this makes it seems like they are actively participating in FA this year. It will fool some.

Do you realize ALL teams need to complete a roster. They need these type of players to fill those spots.

Just because they do not sign and do what you want them to do makes it wrong.

Yes, they hang on to too many of their own that need to go. But so far what they have done is not devastating as last year when they did nothing. Fans want big name signings, then they will complain about that as well. Most because it was not who they wanted.
Others will want a player then complain about the contract. But they wanted them to get a big name to begin with.

You can't keep all your own players, but you can't let them all go either. Do you really want to sign 30 FA's? Hint, there are not 30 FA's out there better than some of our own guys.

We will find out when the games start. Just like all moves. Coaching staff, FA players signed, or left, and the draft picks.
