Best of luck to Dlaw.
They can draft and they also have Parsons, Kneeland, and Williams. They can also sign another free agent. The problem is the Cowboys lost Golston and D-Law, both starting DEs last season, while Sam Williams is coming off two torn knee ligaments. This means the Cowboys definitely need to address DE in this year's draft. That's not including having a hole at DT as well.
for the money lawrence was being paid he should have showed up more when the defense needed him. instead of padding his stats against bad teams. just another garbage stat player to me.I don't understand why so many are against the Law. He was a good player, rarely overran the play. He didn't make a lot of splash plays, but he was solid
Last I saw (not long ago) he got knocked out cold by a much smaller guy.Greg Hardy
i am one of those fans who would have liked to see more from him. solid against the run he was but could have been better for the money he made. maybe i need to just stop complaining. we did miss him last year especially at the start of the season. The 'tired" comment wasn't inspiring but he was underappreciated for his solid run stopping.......people tend to want to see better sack numbers when an edge guy is paid that much, I guess
His run stopping didnt seem to have much of an impact against the Packers last year.Best run stopping DE in the league
I'm not excited about Marshawn Kneeland. Undersized and too small (6'3", 268 lbs) to be an impact 4 - 3 defensive end.The guy was a fantastic run defender but when the 3 other guys on the line can't stop the run you become pretty easy to avoid for opposing coaches. He became obsolete towards the end of his career here.
Best of luck to him but I'm excited to see what Kneeland can do.
I love DLaw, but that's a hell of a likeness!Bye, Calibos!

Go back to the marsh swamps you came from.
Wonder who else we could apply that to...How does losing him make us worse? He hardly played last year.
you don't watch the games. He's been M.I.A. for over 3 years.
