When we ran out of corners and had to play him in the slot, he looked OK. However, when we put him in at corner in the preseasons following that, he did not look good. He seemed to struggle more as an outside corner than in the slot. I'm not sure why. Maybe his length causes him to lose too much speed when he has to start and stop against double moves.

They need to bring Lawson back. Parsons, Kneeland, Sam Williams and Lawson might make a decent combo.

He is a big guy, not easy to cover shifty guys. I thought he would have done more at this point.

Well, the main reason they made the shift to safety was because long-legged players usually can't throttle down and burst out of cuts. They have to gather speed and by then it's too late.

In the slot, there's a lot of wait and break, so not a lot of throttling down is needed. He can use his length to get in the way of the pass.

The problem that I had with the way Dallas used him this past preseason is that they seemed to put him at outside corner when they played him at corner. At outside corner, receivers can use his gather speed against him.

I always suspected him, Bell and Thomas had a role on this defense I just think Zim wanted the vets or trusted them more.
