Why Micah is a concern

It's entirely possible that those Jackson voters had Dak farther down on their lists.
Actually, that was true. It was true for Dak Prescott, Christian McCaffrey, Brock Purdy, Josh Allen, Tyreek Hill, Patrick Mahomes, Matthew Stafford, C. J. Stroud and Myles Garrett for 2023.

The current AP voting system is five rounds of voting instead of a single round. All AP voters except for one voted for Lamar Jackson in the first round. That single AP voter cast their choice for Josh Allen. Afterwards, every single AP voter re-cast their ballots for the second, third, fourth and fifth rounds of voting.

Every non-Jackson player, including Prescott, was pushed down their MVP list. This is one of the main reasons why the voting system was revised. It was re-designed so more players could be recognized for their very good seasons while acknowledging which player or players they considered had much better seasons than others did.

Micah is not the problem. But like every other player on the field, no one can do it on their own. Micah needs a supporting cast, or at least one other pass rush threat to take some of the attention away from Micah. If Sam Williams can generate anything for a pass rush, Micah will be fine. Of course if you scrutinize Micah every single play, you are going to find what you are looking for, as you would if you scrutinized any player under a microscope like that.

The only problem I have with Micah is actually with Jerry. Had Jerry signed Micah right away, he would probably be on board for something in the area of $35 million. But Jerry likes to drag his feet until the price is at its peak before he signs his players. Now I am concerned Jerry will pay Micah a salary that will far exceed his, or any player's, ability to achieve. This is how Jerry operates.

Micah is not worth more than Myles Garrett. That is a fact. But Dak is not worth more than every other QB in the league either. If Jerry pays Micah $40 million or more, he will constantly be compared to Garrett and every other edge player in the league and he will never measure up.

The problem is, Jerry has already screwed this up and it will not end well.

Micah Parsons has had 8 solo tackles, 10 assists and 1.0 sack in 4 games in the playoffs in his career.

And this guy deserves 40 million or 37 million or 35 million per year?

Maybe you “need to watch” more football?

Maybe if you type out 1,286 words to him he will get it, I mean that is his MO...the more words the better even if they don't make sense.
I cannot gripe TOO much about word count, since I have been guilty of 1,286 word posts or worse in the past too. That said, I have tried inserting punctuation WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more often in my rants, lol.

His machine that has the button that uses the punctuation feature wore out years ago.

He does not get the hint either, because I don't ever see any "likes" to his posts because others see the novel and keeps on walking.
Same here. I have noticed that he's getting lazy though and will copy/paste the same novel into different threads.

I am likely wrong but I think most talk-to-text software inserts punctuation pretty well. However, software can sometimes misinterpret where punctuation should be inserted.

Take me for instance. I dictate about half my texts on my iPhone using Siri. My OCD pushes me to say 'period', 'question mark', etc., without giving Siri a chance to insert punctuation marks, start new paragraphs, etc. I say better safe than sorry.

1. He disappears in big games
2. He often takes himself out of the games late
3. The podcasting is a distraction and he shows himself to be a clown
4. He breaks down late in the season
5. He has become too one dimensional
6. He is not a DE too small to take on OTs consistently
7. Not sure he is loved by his teammates
8. His motor has slowed down a bit
9. His entourage are clowns
10. He might be a dummy

We will pay him the kings ransom and by mid season his play will drop off and will not be a game changer when we need him to be… he really needs to be on a pitch count as they say in baseball to conserve his energy
Or just get him some help, so he does not get constantly double and triple teamed.

Add on

- he has no fight in him (watch any scrum with the defense and see if you can find tough talking 11)

-selfish.....watch other players get sacks and look at his reaction

-pouty....if he doesn't get sacks he has a pouty face on the sideline.

TRADE HIM!

For what, to carry over to next year so that JJ and SJ can pick up a few 1-4 million dollar guys? You make no sense. You trust them to do something good? You trust them to pick better guys than Mazi, Guyton, and Kneeland with the capital? No thanks!

Four guys are better than one fool.

Jerry paid Micah 17M through 4 seasons.

He got a bargain.

You’re insane!!! You can have every guy we signed this off season. Campbell, Shepley, Fouler, Sanders. Williams, Turner, Thomas, Jones, and Samborn!!!! I’ll take Micah.

Want to compare it to last years draft? You take Guyton, Beebee, Kneeland, Liafiu, Carson, Flournoy, Roger’s, and Thomas. I’ll take Micah.

This conversation shows the level of your football intelligence!!! Tell cousin Steven all of us in the normal world say hi…
