I’m not one to stick up for Jerry but Lance was offered a contract extension before last season was up and Lance turned it down.A big step back from Lance, who Jerry refuses to pay.

Funny thing is….Milton has played more football than Lance and Lance is younger lol. He may be a bust but this team didn’t even devlop him.Because he was literally already known to be a bust.....with Broadway Joe Milton his future is yet to be determined
Could be the guy that retires Dakota for all we know
Just stop. The team that knew him best with a guy at the helm known around the league as a great QB / Offensive guru dumped him. There was a chance he would have been released. Jerry giving up a 4 for Lance is the type of move that has plagued this franchise for decades.Well yes, if we could all see the future there would be no need to debate anything as we would all know the answers. But at the time, trading a mid-round pick for someone who was highly thought of by a coaching staff a lot of people think highly of (to be fair, most of our fans think anyone who isn't one of our coaches is better than our coaches), is a good deal. It's all a dart throw. The potential is there, it just doesn't always work out.
This fanbase was pissed off about the 4th for Lance because he was a proven BUST who couldn't be developed by one of the best offensive minds in the NFL.Funny thing is….Milton has played more football than Lance and Lance is younger lol. He may be a bust but this team didn’t even devlop him.
It’s weird how excited this fanbase is over Milton but was pissed off we trade a 4th for Lance.
I don’t know if they can but I know how they did Lance want the way to do it. You can’t handcuff a guy Lance should’ve been getting all the reps. The question is can the Cowboys’ staff develop Milton? He has the physical measurables for sure: but can he develop the intangibles to be a legitimate starting QB in the NFL? At this juncture in his career appears to be more of an athlete than football player. Time will tell, but late round QBs like Tom Brady and Russell Wilson don’t grow on trees.
He was proven to be a bust with no football experience? He was a top 3 pick. And the crazy thing? This team wouldn’t each spend a 6th or 5th on Milton. He’s raw but I hope after a 4 interception game they are more patient with Milton. This team played Rush over Lance. Even in preseason. This fanbase was pissed off about the 4th for Lance because he was a proven BUST who couldn't be developed by one of the best offensive minds in the NFL.
Milton represents a fresh slate and with an often increasingly injured QB, he's going to be playing very soon so let's hope he's the real deal
So, you have no answer. Got it.It's pretty obvious just look at him. We already know how you feel about him.
Well no joke. People repeat what they think? No way. That can't be right. You would never do that. Hmmm.......We have heard your judgement over and over. I like the move. A lot of people like it.
He didn't just want to go anywhere...any team. He looked at the team with the highest paid player in the NFL and said to himself "hmmmm....I think I'm better than him"That implies that you think Maye is good? Whether he thinks Dak sucks or not is irrelevant. He has a contract that’s gonna require him to not be movable. Meanwhile Maye is a first round pick and 22. He has no shot.
Lance sucked, bro. Let it go. He is history and never coming back. Thankfully. Should have never traded for him. Waste of a costly 4th round draft pick where several good RBs were still available last year.He was proven to be a bust with no football experience? He was a top 3 pick. And the crazy thing? Agreed.I don’t know if they can but I know how they did Lance want the way to do it. You can’t handcuff a guy Lance should’ve been getting all the reps.
Lol, 5 teams were trying to trade for him.Thid guy wasnt going to make the Patriots roster. Could have gotten him for nothing!
Everything happens for a reason. I’d much rather have a back in this draft than last. Lance sucks. Sure. But they sucked at developing him and they shouldn’t repeat that with Milton.Lance sucked, bro. Let it go. He is history and never coming back. Thankfully. Should have never traded for him. My answer is he had a very good 1st season. His development made 5 teams interested in him. His season highlights are very good. Anybody on your side of the fence is totally ignorant at this point. So, you have no answer. Got it.
Someone named Purdy might have had something to do with it.This fanbase was pissed off about the 4th for Lance because he was a proven BUST who couldn't be developed by one of the best offensive minds in the NFL.
I saw him play for years. Overthrow one wide open WR after another. He literally ran out of bounds on his opponents 15 yd line long after time had expired instead of chucking one into the endzone to give his team a chance. Too stupid to realize the implications. 3 years at TN, never learned how to run the offense. NE very publicly puts him up for trade, their best offer, and I suspect their only offer, was trading up 30 spots at the very bottom of a bad draft. He couldn't beat out Grier in an honest competition, but the 2 fools who run this team will no doubt keep him around as a pipe dream for the next couple years.Lol, go watch the all 22 against the Bills.
