I think that was agent talk........but if you believe the reports, the Pats actually took less to accommodate Joe. So it's not a reach that some team may have offered a 4th, I suppose.

Brissett is what he is. A good backup with little upside. Lock? That’s debatable. Milton is a specimen but his accuracy issue is a major problem. I think that is hard to correct.

Sure, but this guy will never see any meaningful action outside of an injury to Dak. Trey Lance redux is all this is, and if Dak goes down we are still cooked having failed to bring in an established backup QB. Maybe Andrew Dalton is still looking for a job?

It is. But at this point I’d rather lose and develop a guy then do what we did with Rush who hit his ceiling.

Agreed. They were not going to pay Jacoby $6 million and Rush was right around that figure

They shouldn’t have done a lot of things they should’ve trade Dak, Lamb, Martin, Law, etc when they had the chance and done a proper rebuild.
