They got this one right IMO.........
I think that was agent talk........but if you believe the reports, the Pats actually took less to accommodate Joe. So it's not a reach that some team may have offered a 4th, I suppose.I was so worried they would do this for a 3rd

Sure, but this guy will never see any meaningful action outside of an injury to Dak. Trey Lance redux is all this is, and if Dak goes down we are still cooked having failed to bring in an established backup QB. Maybe Andrew Dalton is still looking for a job?One of the few decisions by JJ I actually agree with. Low risk, high reward guy compared to those two stiffs.
absolutely. Jerry did a good job on this one IMO.One of the few decisions by JJ I actually agree with. Low risk, high reward guy compared to those two stiffs.
It is. But at this point I’d rather lose and develop a guy then do what we did with Rush who hit his ceiling.Sure, but this guy will never see any meaningful action outside of an injury to Dak. That is why we should have not signed that QB1 contract. But I digressIt is. But at this point I’d rather lose and develop a guy then do what we did with Rush who hit his ceiling.

Agreed. They were not going to pay Jacoby $6 million and Rush was right around that figureBrissett is a great backup, but I dont know if I was to pay a backup 6m+ per. For that much money, I want to know they player is going to be taking snaps during the season. Thats why Id rather go with a guy like Milton
They shouldn’t have done a lot of things they should’ve trade Dak, Lamb, Martin, Law, etc when they had the chance and done a proper rebuild. That is why we should have not signed that QB1 contract. But I digress
They also got that 7th back which is the 1st pick in the 7th. Nice trade indeedI was so worried they would do this for a 3rd....but they did it for the equivalent of a 6th....fantastic move
At least they seem to be traveling on a map this time. Trey Lance was an off-road excursion that led to Nowhere Land.lol talk about all over the map lol.
Brissett, a bonafide journeyman backup.
Lock, a bust.
Milton, a young raw QB with maybe some upside.
