Sure it’s a year down the road but would it be shocking if neither Diggs or Bland is on the roster? Diggs is coming off his second major injury and reports are the team was unhappy with his rehab. If he has another subpar season I could see them cutting him loose.

As for Bland, he is in the last year of his rookie deal and will want top 5ish money. Is he worth it? Would the Jones’ even consider it?

Don't know. I just know Stephen said he's a priority. I wouldn't be surprised if we released Diggs and signed Bland, kind of like we did with Cooper/Gallup. Diggs isn't going to be able to play a full season this year and his dead cap hit is about $13 million less than the salary cap hit to keep him in 2026.

Very unlikely Diggs is retained at his current salary. He can very easily be cut after this season. If his play rebounds he could be a trade candidate.

According to one of the staff writers Diggs contract was structured much like Cooper’s so they could walk away after 2 seasons. Guessing the plan was to trade him, and use the space so they’d only have to restructure one of Dak and Lamb. The injury threw a wrench in that plan. Either cut or trade he won’t be here next season!

They’ve already stated they’d like to get a deal done with Bland before the next season is over. Hinging on what and when they can get Parsons deal done!

I can see Dallas struggling with re-signing Bland and Tyler Smith after giving Micah a record deal. But Let's see how Bland plays in 2025. I think he is a bit overrated honestly. Sure he had the one year with all those INTs but so did Diggs have a year like that. To me Bland is great at jumping certain routes. I don't think he is as good all around as some make him out to be. Beware of the one year wonders.

Diggs is gone for sure. Injuries aside you can’t pay a guy that doesn’t tackle. His demonstrated desire to avoid contact is embarrassing. I love Bland but is he worth a huge deal? Will another team give him top 5 money?

Signing Bland at top 5 money is almost as bad as Larry Brown getting that fat contract from Al Davis way back when.

Brown had one MVP game in the SB and Bland had one excellent season that may be an anomaly.....let somebody else pay the fools gold if he demands top 5 money

It’s not like Deion was some mauler. While I would love a wrap up Tnew style Corner… I can live with it if you’re giving the offense the ball 6-10 times per season.
