Report: Pats took less to trade Milton to the Cowboys out of respect

I don’t believe that. I believe the Patriots took the best offer they could get. This is a phony narrative started by Milton’s agent, the Patriots or Cowboys to give an otherwise insignificant transaction some importance.
Agreed it sounds like complete BS. And it's smart tactically. Let the organization run by Doofus and Doofus Jr think they got the better of the deal. That way when you go to fleece them a second time they will be more likely to bite.

I love the fact he wanted to be here. This team has not had a QB worth developing since Dak was seen as that guy in 2016 behind Romo.

Too early to say if this trade will make up for the Trey Lance disaster but I can't wait to see how Milton develops here.
He wanted to be here because he thinks he has a better chance of out playing Prescott that he does Hurts… don’t read too much into this lol

Lets be honest about Dak for a second- He chokes in the playoffs, he is always injured and he can't run anymore. Also, the worst part of Dak is his incredibly weak mental makeup when things go south... I've been a Dak supporter in the past but as of now I see zero upside to him so in my opinion it's all downhill for him... I think Milton will come in early once Dak is hurt and take Dak's job quite honestly...

Beyond any doubt. Anyone offers a 4th, NE jumps on it. They took a 5th because no one else was offering anything better.

How do people fall for this soap opera crapp?

60 mil per is PLENTY of respect lol… And Dak should have zero problem with a young guy who wants to Wally Pip him since he had no problem doing that to Romo

Dak has to deliver in big games this year. Period. It’s not about stats. It’s about playing his best and getting this offense to perform at its best when it absolutely has to.

If he can’t do that— then it’s time to get somebody in here who can.
Honestly, I think Dak has been given the chance to prove that he is the franchise guy. I may be wrong but I don't think it is going to happen with him. The Cowboys have invested a lot of money on this one guy but imho, I don't think he is the guy. Dak can't even stay healthy. Unless he makes a major turnaround this season, it is time for a change.
