The Eagles and Commanders have good and young QBs already. Dak was expensive but if he can play well for 3 or 4 more years, the other teams are going to have to give massive contracts to their QB.

If Dak only makes it 1 or 2 years Dallas will be stuck with the Cap but with those likely losing seasons, I could see them landing a top 5 pick and drafting their own rookie all star QB, so that kind of levels things out. So I think Dallas should build the team as though a rookie QB is coming in 2-3 years. Thoughts?

Your missing the signs, lol, they just got milton, and that is their sole investment in a qb.
They are not drafting another one this year or next . Who knows about in 3 yrs.

Can see it happening and him electrifying that organization only for us to feel that we have to do the same and MISS BIG!!! ;)

Road to being the fourth placed team in the division

you really think jerry will start all over with the qb when he is 85 or what ever

nahhhhhh dak will get another contract after this

If Giants are smart they are taking either Hunter or Carter.
Agree 100% ...........they are just playing the PR game about Shedure. Only other thing I think they may consider is trading down a few spots if Carter is there and Hunter is gone. The reasons being they already have Kayvon and Burns as their outside LBers in the base 3-4. So selecting Carter means one is going to the bench. So I'm thinking they could trade down a few spots and draft Jeanty after getting so much heat for losing Barkley.

Spent a 4 on Lance last year.

Moved down to get Milton this year.

They are clearly looking at QB's.
They’re clearly looking at young backup QBs with some upside. I would be pretty surprised if they draft a QB after giving up a 5th for Milton. Not enough balls to go around to develop two young QBs.

I once accidentally told my wife im looking for a "Widerback" but then she told me. "You don't like Zeke?" Slept on the couch lol.

Didn’t Philly already give their quarterback a “massive” contract?

I don’t think Dak can make it to another contract, this will be his last. I would set my sights on Arch in three years if he does develop into that franchise QB. At worst, he would sit for one season assuming Dak plays four more. Manning isn’t coming out early and should be playing all of his eligible years. That coincides nicely with the end of the Prescott era.
