Video: This Paris Campbell Kid Can Actually Play

He’s a Cowboy so I’m going to root for him but I’m not expecting much at all. He does not solve our issues at WR whatsoever

He couldn't help the NYG when they probably had the worst WR corp in the NFL.

Went to Philadelphia and did nothing.

I don't think he makes the roster.
and NY had terrible qb play that goes hand in hand with terrible wr play. Ever see what happened to Antonio Brown's numbers when Big Ben went down? Brown went from being the best fantasy wr in the league to not even playable.

Luckily the Cowboys have a future Hall of Famer at quarterback. Campbell is a phenom, now. He can show off his Super Bowl ring and tell the rest of the roster how it’s done.

you feel better now? Hey, your post is incomplete though. You failed to talk about the crappy FO, Jerry's illegitimate kids, world hunger and Rising prices.

You’re taking the narrow view. Match Paris with CeeDee and the Cowboys have a formidable NFL receiving duo.

I was just having a discussion about WRs and cowboyny was talking about Paris Campbell having speed, which inspired me to go look at his tape. He looked solid for Indy. I don't think he played much in Philly. So I'm looking at his potential as opposed to his recent production. Good route runner. Plays well in traffic. Will take a hit. Slithery after the catch. Adds speed. To me, it looks like a sneaky good signing.

Have a look.

He and Mingo look like solid number 2's when given the opportunity.

The small underneath YAC guy archetype just doesn't translate well to the NFL. Closer hashes mean you can't create pre-snap space away from defenders, and after the ball gets thrown, those defenders close on you much faster.

Campbell has never been an efficient receiver, and he's starting to pile up injuries and lose explosiveness, which was the big positive he offered. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make the 53.

Don't forget, the Cowboys had another Ohio State receiver that lingered around for a few years before he developed into a decent player.

Long live Noah Brown.

And then... he came to Dallas.
