You would have like 1000 bucks...why not say if I had a 100 dollar bill, now we're talking! If I had a nickel for everytime an athlete said they are in the best shape of their life…

Under normal or favorable circumstances, yes. I think the post was referring to his panic mode.I actually think he's decent in that area. He has subpar arm talent.
Homeboy is going on 9 years in, so he has already peaked. He's not getting any better, no matter how slim he looks.Dak Prescott may be in the best shape of his life as he continues to recover from last season's hamstring injury. But our Mike Fisher finds the truth behind the weight-loss rumors.

FRISCO - The injury recovery for Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott continues to move in the right direction as we near training camp.
After suffering a torn hamstring in Week 8 of the 2024 season, the former All-Pro QB has taken his rehab very seriously.
But an internet troll has spread the word that Dak has lost 30 pounds. And now a teammate is piggybacking on that with an obvious joke ... that Dak's has lost weight to the tune of losing 50 pounds.
His recovery from his hamstring-torn-off-the-bone injury is crucial as he enters Year 10 with the Cowboys. He is 31 years old and won't be getting any younger ... so his health and fitness is key.
And he's getting healthy. And he's already fit. "Fit'' at 226 ... pretty much like always.

For that to even be in the realm of feasibility there would have to be headlines far before that that read something like Cowboys hire a general manager Jerry Jones sells the team or something on that orderif i had my way, which I'm aware I dont, the next headline about Dak id care to see would be:
nfc championship game
on the road
facing a top 5 defense
down 5
with 90 seconds left
no timeouts
and he needs to drive the team 75 yards to punch it in the end zone
and he actually does it.
The OP tells you where the 50 came from. A joking teammate.I saw another article that said it was 50lbs, so is it 30 or 50?
His weight loss is because he does not need to train for a long season, he has it made. In other words, why work hard like he used to now that he cashed the check. Besides, you know, "the best o his life" thingy.Dak Prescott may be in the best shape of his life as he continues to recover from last season's hamstring injury. But our Mike Fisher finds the truth behind the weight-loss rumors.

The hamstring was holding him back.Best shape of his life as he continues to recover from hamstring injury.
Makes sense.
Generally, losing muscle mass isn’t a good way to extend longevity in this sport. He's obviously not in the best shape of his life, but he's looking fit. Will his body hold up at his age and wear and tear? Only time will tell.
Gaining muscle mass didn't help his leg last season though. I think either way, he's cooked.Generally, losing muscle mass isn’t a good way to extend longevity in this sport.
Then you wake up. It's the wild card game, Dak throws two picks one is a pick six. Cowboys loose.if i had my way, which I'm aware I dont, the next headline about Dak id care to see would be:

He lost 3 pounds. He had to lose the weight because his calf couldnt handle how much he weighed previously and gave up.
"Dak's weigh-in number at this moment, according to a source here inside The Star, is 226. So ... as of today, he's lost 3 pounds. Not 30. Three.
You guys suck."may be in the best shape of his life"
