You’re missing just a tad bit of context on why Tyeek Hill was a 5th round pick.5"10 191 and he was taken in the 5th round. I like Golden, I don't like him at 12.

People like staying in the gray too much on this board. When I do these polls, I usually keep them black and whiteThere should be a third option 'OK'. Golden is definitely a good prospect with great speed, quickness, route running and intangibles, but has a production red flag. He could just be coming into his own, or he could be John Ross.
If we take him, fine. It's a bet on his talent. If we take him over a better player in Tet, I'm not too happy.
How many early picks do you need on OL and DL???WR2 makes sense for some fans, not me. He doesnt move the needle much. Get someone who can stuff the run or move people in the running game. Now that makes sense and moves the needle. Wont sell jerseys but will make your team better.
That's fairPeople like staying in the gray too much on this board. When I do these polls, I usually keep them black and white
McMillan has put up bigger numbers for sure.He has objectively been a better football player than Golden for the past two years.
Agreed. I’m betting on upside with Golden. I feel that based on his quarterback’s limitations and how he came along during the season, I think he’s has far more untapped potential.Better prospect? That's debatable
I think he could be our DaVonta Smith to Lamb's AJ Brown. Obviously, Smith was more productive in college, but I think the dynamic could be similar. There has been smoke about him the past couple weeks. How would you feel
Looks like a lot of whiffs to me. I agree they have spent draft capital there but on some wrong players. If the Egirls taught us anything it is win the trenches, win the game. Are you comfortable the players they have and brought in will stuff the run or elevate the run? I am definitely not.How many early picks do you need on OL and DL???
LT - Guyton (1st)
LG - Tyler Smith (1st)
C - Cooper Beebe (3rd)
Martin was a 1st who just retired.
Richard’s, Waletzko, Thomas are all day 3 guys.
DL?
DE - Parsons (1st)
DT - Osa (3rd
DT - Mazi (1st)
DE - Sam Williams (2nd)
Kneeland is a 2nd rounder
I mean dang. People act like they don’t invest in the trenches
He’s just totally different and actually projects as less NFL ready. But he could end up being a Randy Moss type player. Huge risk/reward so I think he falls to late 1st round.I disagree that Tet is the ‘better player’.

Sorry, I’m confused. He’s just totally different and actually projects as less NFL ready. But he could end up being a Randy Moss type player. Huge risk/reward so I think he falls to late 1st round.
That's been the big debate lately. It would be funny if neither were the pick. I don't use that ranking system, prefer Lance on NFL.com. He has Golden at 16-17 the last time I checked.![]()
Looks like mock draft consensus is 20. So yeah I would feel not great about that should be a slight trade down, or just try to trade down and get whoever WR or not later in the first.
I disagree that Tet is the ‘better player’.
McMillian…..boom or bust imoSorry, I’m confused.
Which receiver are you referring to?
I agree. But I don’t put his speed anywhere near Randy Moss.McMillian…..boom or bust imo
I'd hate it and I like the player fine. Golden isn't and has never been 1st round, much less 12th overall type talent. He was firmly rooted in the 2nd until he ran the 40. It was a great 40 time but shouldn't have propelled a 5"11 190 pound receiver with limited production to the top of the board. If we weren't a team that is absolutely ravenous for not only a WR, but a fast WR this conversation wouldn't be happening and still shouldn't.
Nobody wants to move up lolMiddle second rounder . Would rather see Dallas trade down for more draft capital .
You could be right .Nobody wants to move up lol
As many as it takes for them to be dominant. How many early picks do you need on OL and DL???
One would have to answer them how much Dak will hold him back with all the too high (especially with him being 5'11) and behind the receiver throws that he makesthis is true 100%,i dont think i have seen Ewers ever hit a WR in stride,he mostly threw short and his WRs have to stop their routes for the ball.
Osa is borderline as regards being a valuable starterAs many as it takes for them to be dominant.
